  1. took it out, opened it up to see if any obvious issues, split the front and back pcbs and reseated, issue is now resolved, hopefully just a poor connection, fingers crossed.
  2. I take it your 1.7v is a misprint for 14.7. If this battery is 12 years old, then we have really wasted our comments. Don’t even waste your time in getting it checked - just replace it. In case it helps, I’ve used Exide (premium) to good effect - available from Tayna and others. Have a look on EBay. Don't forget to get it coded to the car. Please let us know how you get on.
  3. Hi all, just joined this club. I have an Audi Q3 2015 which I bought in July second hand. Glad to be here Yvee
  4. Haha, thankfully I don't have much dealings with the tractors. I work at a skills centre for adults with learning disabilities so we teach animal care skills, horticulture skills, woodworking skills, cooking skills, plus make things to sell at a local garden centre also owned by the farm owners.
  5. Hi that would be the high pressure valve the low pressure unit is way more expensive but I wouldn't be buying either without the fault code assigned to it. Steve
  6. Glad to hear it. If it happens again at least you now know there is a good chance it can be repaired.
  7. Irena. I sympathise with your predicament, but without a firm diagnosis from a code reader we can only guess which of the many possible faults are responsible for the problem. Those possibilities include a blocked diesel particulate filter, a dying battery, faulty fuel pumps, faulty mass air flow meter, and several others as well. It is clearly uneconomic to renew every possible part in the hope that you will be lucky. Audi should be able to diagnose a car as young as yours, and I am puzzled your workshop can not do so. Is there an alternative Audi workshop you could try? Are there any independant VAG specialists you could try? (Many of us here prefer independant workshops for reasons I need not mention here, but I do not know if they exist in Germany.)
  8. My battery has the exact same issue. They asked I left the car overnight so they could charge it but next day after a second test drive found the battery was back to 60%.l After another 2 days off the road and more tests Audi approved a replacement battery under warranty. Car is just one year old and 10000 miles. re the radio. I rejected my first Car because of radio issues and had it replaced with the current car.
  9. Just joined the owners club so here is my Audi A4 B8.5 3.0Tdi Quattro Black Edition. Had the car about two years, she was standard when I purchased the car. Current modifications: Back box delete. Black gloss rear diffuser. Black chrome exhaust tips. Black gloss badges all round. Black gloss grill. S4 Alcantara seats. RS4 interior door handles. Rear door card window blinds. Audio speakers and tweeters upgraded. K&N air filter. Wagner competition intercooler. RS4 rear anti roll bar. Retrofits: Power fold wing mirrors. MMI 3G plus. Ambient interior lights fitted.
  10. Welcome Yvee, Many thanks for joining. Please come back to us if you think the forum can be of help. Meanwhile, enjoy the car. Regards, Gareth.
