  1. I can confirm the above does work. Used gas strut spring clip to refix the arm and all is good 👍🏼
  2. I take my hat off to you. You are bolder than me importing a car without having seen or driven it.

  4. Thanks Steve Looks like I need to invest in an OBD Eleven then
  5. Classic symptom of a slipping clutch.
  6. I doubt you would get that repaired under warrantee in a six year old car. Fair wear and tear in my opinion, however there's no harm in asking.

Hello Folks, I am just about to become the proud owner of a 67 Plate A6 3.0 Allroad. I’ve wanted one for years. My last Audi was a 02 plate A6 saloon which met a sad departure but that was a decade ago. Im a little surprised there isn’t car play as it’s a registered in 2018, so I’m hoping it’s got the MHI2 system so I can upgrade it. Im off to get it on Sunday. Have loved Audi since I had a remote controlled car when I was about 10 that was identical to the Audi Quattro 😎 Anyway Hello 👋 Rob
  8. Level sensor, or quite possibly a poor connection onto it, on the reservoir. Worth getting some contact cleaner and removing the plug, spray and refit. Regards, Gareth.
  9. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Looks a lovely car. Make sure the car gets correctly registered with DVLA as we've seen other members have issues regarding emissions classifications etc because the correct paperwork wasn't supplied. Make sure you get the certificate of conformity from Singapore Audi. Celtic are well known and respected.
  10. Not sure yet, suspected crank failure. Hoping to get the sump off to inspect it. The only issue with dropping the subframe is getting it realigned afterwards. I'm thinking leaving it in so it's rolling. Like this...
  11. Touche! 😂 Haha 🤣 I must admit, I've been doing this whilst my wife is out 😂 I may end up buying a new one anyway but will keep this as a spare. Have you any any experience with aftermarket ones such as on auto doc etc? Are they of inferior quality to the genuine Audi one which is now obsolete. Also without sounding daft, can I get the plug wet that's for the coolant level sensor? I've kept it dry this far but if it were to go in a dishwasher etc then it'd get wet.
  12. Hi We had fault code P177C which pointed to the clutchpack with clutch 1 out of tolerance. Car is a 69 plate 1.5 TFSI. Not sure if the 1.6 TDI has the same gearbox. Symptoms were juddering when driving slow, loss of drive once in 18 months and slightly jerky gear changes which gradually got worse. We had the clutch pack changed and it now drives like new. I'd suggest a proper diagnostic which will probably be more specific.
