A4 Avant
It is a lot of money yes - shame it has an excess. The Audi warranty will be significantly better than any 3rd party one, though warrantywise is probably the best of the 3rd party ones. I've read their small print though and they do get out of a lot of things. I'd advise you also read before taking out any policy.

Auto-ranging Dipped Headlights Gone Faulty?
Nope, auto-dipping is not required, auto levelling is. When you first turn the car on you should see the lights go up and down before settling at the correct level depending on the load in car etc

Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport Sportback ADVICE ON BUYING
Avoid the S tronic auto box if possible. Cylinder head should be fine if done properly. Check when the cam belt was done too.

New to AOC and need advice on upgrading from A6 to S6
That's the V10 right? I assume you are prepared for a massive leap in running costs from the 2.0 TDI? Lovely cars but oh my they like to drink... When looking make sure to check things like tyres and brakes as these are quite expensive to replace and the car can be heavy on them. Make sure all the functions on the MMI work correctly as repair can be expensive if not. Seat bolsters can scuff easily as in most cars and check the rear washer jet is working with no leaks in the boot behind passenger side trim.

exaust drone, powerflow exaust on a3 quattro sprt 3.2 v6
Yes you would need the standard v6 exhaust, unless any other versions feature the same box you are trying to use but I'm not sure. Easiest bet would be just to get the original.

In that case I would just keep an eye out for the usual diesel issues. Make sure you do enough miles in it/long runs to give it a good blast out now and again. That combined with proper maintenance and you shouldn't go too far wrong!

Immobilizer 1994 Cabriolet
I would imagine the central locking pump would be linked in some way yes. Sounds silly, but have you thought about just splashing out and getting a proper chipped key from Audi, just to save any hassle.

Auto-ranging Dipped Headlights Gone Faulty?
Do you also have headlight washers? HID/Xenon are usually more blue/white in colour than halogen units and the bulbs look completely different. Often there is a reference to near the lights to them being high voltage warning you not to touch...

A3 2015 model Dual zone climate control system issue.
May be worth asking around as I would have thought a decent specialist should have access to the diagnostic software required but I could be wrong.

How much are they quoting?

Assuming this is a factory fitted immobiliser?

Hi Ricky welcome A 2012 car should still be fairly fresh - how many miles has it done?

First Audi A3
Hi Kacper welcome to the forum Glad to hear you're pleased with the A3... what was your last car? Was it much of an upgrade?

Auto-ranging Dipped Headlights Gone Faulty?
I think you'll find you need the auto levelling to work for the MOT if you have HID/xenon headlights. I believe it's a common fault and it's usually the motors at that cause this issue.

Seat Rash
Well fingers crossed you work out what it is!

Seat Rash
Interesting article. Do you also suffer with reactions to anything else or is it just the car for you?

New member Hey Y'all
Hi Dave welcome I think there is a drain plug somewhere - worth checking to make sure it's not blocked?

A3 2015 model Dual zone climate control system issue.
Does the unit definitely need coding? I imagine the fitting part would be reasonably straight forward.

Starting problem
Don't say that, it would always have been worse with a BMW Sorry to hear that though that's really unlucky. How long have you owned the car?
- dodgy websites

Bose sound system
I know the Bose system isn't as good as the B&O one. I think Audi now market the Bose as more of a mid range system. I guess you're going to have to go down the traditional route of upgrading speakers, sub/amp etc?

A4 avant
They're cheap and plastic so probably not that great to be honest. Your car should be pretty good just watch out for the usual diesel issues around DPFs and EGR valves etc

Crank sensor
I'm reasonably sure the cooler and filter do have to be removed unfortunately

Seat Rash
Hi John that's very interesting but I've never heard of it until now! Does it matter what you wear while driving?
