2016 audi q7 real world mpg
As Magnet said, these tests are carried out under standardised conditions to eliminate the human factor in the tests. The tests were only ever devised to provide a comparison between cars, not to indicate what the real fuel consumption on the road would be, which depends so much on traffic conditions and how heavy footed the driver is. Having said that, "VW dieselgate" has shown that manufacturers can programme their cars to perform unusually well in specific circumstances so who knows how relevant official consumption figures are nowadays.

Scuffed Wheel
If you intend to transfer the original tyre pressure monitor from the old wheel to the new I see no reason to change anything, however a new monitor will need to be calibrated and coded to the car.

I am locking this topic as it is a duplicate of another posted at the same time by the same member.

Knocking when turning at low speed
Good to hear the matter is finally resolved. In your position I would send a report of the repair to the dealer who sold you the car, and claim full recompense for the costs you have incurred. You will need to be persistent and threaten legal action to get anywhere. Whether you follow up the threats depends on how committed you are.

Bruno. I have merged your two similar topics. There is no point in starting a fresh topic on the same subject, particularly when you made no reply to Steve Q's suggestion.

2009 Audi A4 Suspension Issue – Bought from Dealer
Soft or damaged rubber bushes in the suspension joints are instant MOT failures, and the dealer's sale of the car to you was illegal for that reason. Take it back to him and demand, not ask, for either a repair or a refund.

Jammed turbo
That's a remarkably low mileage for a turbo failure, so the diagnosis is suspect in my view. Take the car to an independant Audi specialist for another opinion, and even if the turbo does need to be changed his charge will likely be lower than Audi.

Audi app and navigation upgrade
For half that price you could buy a complete plug in satnav with lifetime map updates.

Several Issues - Stuttering when starting
Lauren. Some of those problems are symptomatic of a failing battery, so I suggest you get it professionally tested before doing anything else. By that I mean a deep discharge test, not a multimeter voltage reading, at an auto electrician or independant Audi specialist. The tester should provide you with a printed report of the battery condition, which at six years old is well past its sell by date. If he does not give you a printed report he has not done the test properly and you should go elsewhere. Some folk recommend Halfords for this job; I do not. If a new battery is required ensure the fitter codes it to the car. Once you have a reliable stable power source from the battery you may find other faults disappear, but even if they don't, only a good battery will give sensible answers in any further diagnosic tests.

Blocked drain
Yes, I favour compressed air over wire. If the drain tube is plastic it could be pierced by wire at a bend.

Help to value my car
And if you don't want to do the job yourself, take the car to a body shop. Anything except an Audi garage.

Gearbox oil change, which oil?
Sorry to be blunt Bill, but that is downright foolish. However it is your car, and your money that will be wasted when the gearbox is wrecked.

Sunglasses problem !
Perhaps you could pretend to be cool and trendy by perching them on top of your head. Sorry, I could not resist.

Loose breather hose
Credit where it is due, that's a good result from Audi. Anyone can make mistakes; what counts is admitting to them and correcting them without fuss.

Gearbox oil change, which oil?
Bill. I can't answer your question, though in your position I would change the oil and filter. I daresay you know the precautions for low temperature use of the car, so I'll just remind you about changing the antifreeze to a higher concentration, and to consider snow tyres.

Help to value my car
Ranjit. Everybody has an unrealistic expectation of his car's value, and believes it to be worth more than an insurer or a buyer will pay. I'd say £2330 is not an unfair valuation for a 21 year old car irrespective of how many thousands of pounds you may have spent on it.

Audi leaking on drivers footwell
Scott. I am surprised you can not see the video as it still works for me, though I admit it is a bit shakey and hard to discern the detail. Incidentally Dave Mccraw has not returned to the forum since last September so he may not be seeing your request.

Switching sides. Ta-Ra 😊
It's odd how one can become attached to a particular brand. For thirty years I had a succession of Fords (Mk 2 Consul to Mk 3 Granada 2.9 Cosworth 24 valve,) until one day the love affair faded. Since then its all been downhill starting with worst car I have ever owned a BMW 325d, then an Audi A3, and now a Smart. Driving is no fun any more.

Oil Dipstick part number
Not necessarily. 68 views does not mean 68 owners of the same model knowledgeable enough to identify a particular part number.
