Random misfire, intermittent hard start
Matthew. Not casting aspersions on your particular code reader, but many are incapable of correctly reading Audi codes. It may pay you to get it done professionally, or to get a OBD11 reader which seems to be successful amongst knowledgable users here.

Knocking when turning at low speed
Well it's progress of a sort. I hope it won't be long until the appointment.

9 years of ownership Q3 TDI SE,
Brian was that done at no cost under the guarantee?

'Whup' Noise from air suspension
Stephan. You won't get a reply from Rolling Steve. He has not been back to the forum since he wrote his question. You would do better to create your own topic in the hope that it might be answered by others.

SQ7 AdBlue fault "reductant quality performance"
Do you often allow the battery to go flat? That alone might be responsible for the error message.

EGR BLANKING PLATE SIZE
Glen. Relax, it does not refer to you. The comment above by Magnet was addressed to a post, which you can not see because it has been hidden, by a member calling himself Personal Opinion.

New head lights not working
James. I aplogise for the language and tone of the previous post. I have penalised the person concerned for that, and will hide all his posts.

EGR BLANKING PLATE SIZE
PO. The question was about the size of the blanking plate not where to buy exhaust pipes. By the way, it is a requirement to show an approximate location in your profile. Please amend it to show at least what county you are in.

Steering wheel amber light
I have not done it myself, but anywhere that has a decent diagnostic device should be able to do it. That does not include the cheap code readers that most folk have at home.

Newbie Advice
It's not you. The abandonment of proper road maintenance is a well recognised fact amongst all motorists, except perhaps in Wales. Whenever I cross the border from England the road surfaces instantly change to a higher standard.

Steering wheel amber light
Possibly related to your other topic regarding the radio. Also please confirm you have had the new battery coded to the car.

Extra lead on positive battery cable
A decent photo might help in identification.

Electrical static popping
The extent of my electrical testing knowledge is to wriggle all the connections. Beyond that I can not help. Perhaps one of the wires you discarded as irrelevent is actually relevent after all.
-
Another Recall
As a driver of an electric pocket rocket I agree completely, yet most drivers of petrol cars are happy to sit on 12 gallon tanks of explosive fuel without a care in the world.

Hesitant accelerator and gearshift holding
Ken. I don't know what the problem is, but a problem definitely exists judging by the behaviour you describe. If your Audi dealer can not, or will not, solve it I suggest you take it elsewhere before the guarantee expires, and notify the vendor that he will be charged for the repair.

What's the future, is there a future for my 2001 Quattro?
Maybe so, but sentimental liking for a car does not increase its resale value. Having said that, perhaps Peter is not asking about its value. In fact it is not clear to me exactly what he is asking.

Electrical static popping
Did that include all earth connections?

Driver wing
Peter. It looks like you have pressed your CapsLock key. Please release it before responding again.

Another Recall
The possibilty of an insulation fault on a 400 volt battery is worrying. I hope all is well.

s1 washer jets headlights
If the jets have ball mountings you can move them with a pin in the nozzle.

Loss of coolant
Undoubtedly. It is both stupid and mean not to change the belt while it is accessible.

Airbag module info
I recall reports here of frequent damage to the module under the passenger seat, though I uncertain which Audi model was involved. Search the forum history to learn more.

What's the future, is there a future for my 2001 Quattro?
As a 23 year old, scratched & dented, sun burnt car with damaged rear seat I reckon its resale value as a working car is just about zero. You would be better off dismantling it and selling any useful parts on Ebay, though that would leave a large heap of scrap metal to be got rid of.

Electrical static popping
Have you checked for the most obvious cause: a loose wire or connection shorting out?
