UPDATE: It's the EGR valve knocking, having a new one installed, must of went when I got my new turbo. so will therefore update again later on with anything like performance at lower revs ect.

Just to add my 2 pence in, in some cases the EGR can also affect a "clutch judder" sort of feel, where theres not enough power, can you do fast take offs? if it slows down after the judder then kicks in it can be a EGR valve issue. Keep us updated. Regards Bradley

Hi all I was wondering if you know if the 2000 1.9tdi has Air con? Since I've had the car its never been working as in I believe it needs a air con ragas and clean but I'm not sure if it has it? it has Econ so is that for the motor to kick out cold air? If it does, does it mean once on the "LOW" setting for temp it would come on? Regards Bradley

Right Update: It wasn't the relay it was the motor on the way out, bought a new one and will be fitted soon :D
