  1. I can't speak for the Q7 but on the old allroads this issue can be caused by leaking airbags. Also alot of times the wire for the sensor can stretch besides breaking from even normal driving, or the plug will just become unseated, also causing the problem on the allroads. Very good possibility that could be the case. I would check the sensor wiring and plug first being it could be the cheapest fix. Another thing to consider is a faulty module. Hope this helps.
  2. I'd be getting it to an auto electrican.
  3. Thanks for the update Sean 🙂
  4. Ah yes, I can see it now. Should wear my glasses more often lol. I'd look for instrument cluster repair companies as I'm sure they'd be able to repair it. If you find a company that can, you could speed up the process by buying a second hand cluster so they can remove the trip button from it and transfer it.
  5. Welcome to the forum James you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Ha e you followed the correct procedure? Like this: https://www.audiworld.com/how-tos/a/audi-a3-how-to-reset-service-reminder-light-421106
  6. No probs. Ironically its more likely to be the passenger seat.
  7. Yep that's the one. There will be a couple of sensors.
  8. Common airbag warning light issues are caused by a loose wire under the passenger front seat. Regarding the other fault code, it could be a lambda sensor.
  9. I'd be trying eBay. But if you replace the instrument cluster it'll need to be coded to the car for it to work.
  10. Yep try injector cleaner. And a diagnostic check. Could be a cam sensor.
  11. That's good then 🙂 please keep us posted on how you get on 🙂
  12. Could be an injector, cam sensor. I'd advise a diagnostic check. Did you change the engine mounts as discussed in your other thread?
  13. I'd definitely change the sensor that's been superglued. Also I'd recommend getting an auto electrican to take a look as you've replaced a good portion of the faulty components. If it is the ecu you'll need to get it coded to the car.

    USB ports

there should definitely be one in the glovebox. But there could be one in the arm rest storage area. There might be a little cover over the hole for it, if it doesn't have it. But it might be prewired for usb. Or you could get an auto electrican to run wiring from the glovebox one to the slot in the armrest. Also there are three models for AMI Interface: mini, micro and standard USB. Depending on the type the car has you might need an AMI-USB adaptor cable.
  15. There you are 🙂 so glad when it's an easy fix 🙂
  16. It's fine. My daily only gets 34mpg. And the Audi far less than that on short journeys.

Oh dear. Not being funny a part on back order isn't going to turn up over night that's for sure! You could have a look at Audi Leicester or derby. But haven't used them personally.
  18. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. It could be an issue with the key and the easiest way to check is to try and activate the boot with the spare key. Alternatively it could be the actuator in the boot mechanism.
  19. The emissions is the ea189 recall. Does seem a little limited. Did they say if it's on a long life service plan (ie every 2 years for a service). I'd definitely be looking at getting the gearbox oil changed. And quattro system oil changed (I'm applicable). Is it coming with a stamped service book?
  20. Definitely looks it mate 🙂
  21. Yes I'd say that's right. All depends on what fuel you're using. Ie shell costs a lot more than Tesco for example.
  22. Id be getting it to a garage pronto as the rate of coolant loss is extensive.
