  1. Is this the handbrake engaging? If recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If the issue is with the gearbox I'd recommend a gearbox oil change depending on when it was last done. Also the gearbox might need a software update
  2. My advice is get it booked in to have the system checked over. Could be the motor failing
  3. Yep could be the pressure switch. When I had a similar issue on my A6 I had an oil flush which helped as the gunge came out. For peace of mind I then did another oil change soon after the flush for ultimate peace of mind
  4. I'd recommend either turning it off on obd11 or fit the correct stalk. Let's face it Audi wouldn't fit a different stalk for cars with lane assist for no reason.
  5. I agree with Gareth, definitely do the gearbox oil change if not done in a while. You could also look to see if the gearbox software needs updating or a diagnostic check.ro see if any fault codes flag up. There's an independent Audi specialist in Wigston Leicester called Chapman's. I've never used them but they could be one of the closer Audi specialists to you.
  6. No probs. In failing that you could join st fit the beam adjustment stickers
  7. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  8. Here's a list of the A6 spring codes which I felt might be useful: 1BA - Standard 1BB - Heavy duty 20mm higher 1BC - Special purpose 1BD - S6 1BE - Sport 1BG - Suspension with level control system. 1BH - USA spec 1BJ - a6 with light armour 1BP - Heavy duty but same height as 1BA with limited bump stop. Potentially for rough terrain. 1BT - heavy duty 7mm higher
  9. Glad this thread helped 🙂
  10. I'd recommend a diagnostic check. If you've bought it from a dealer within the last 30 days then you're entitled to a full refund or for the garage to fix the issue FOC.
  11. If you bought it from a dealer then you have 30 days for a full refund or for the garage to fix it FOC.
  12. You're welcome
  13. I think there might be settings in the mmi or a switch on the back of the headlights to adjust for European driving.
  14. Hi Derek the easiest thing would be to follow the wiring and disconnecting the wiring in the boot.
  15. Yea thats right. Different stalk and coding.
  16. Looks great! 👍🙂
  17. They want you to scrap the car so you buy a new one. I'm in the same boat with my 02 A6. Having to buy parts from eBay even if it eBay worldwide.
  18. No probs at all
  19. You have 30 days to return it for a full refund. I'd recommend another garage opinion for evidence of the issue.
  20. Hmm interesting. Might be worth getting the system flushed first for sure.
  21. As promised, I found it under the TT section but the principle will be the same.
