Could it be an air pocket Instead? Issue with the heater matrix or thermostat?
  2. Thank you so much 😊🙏 at least I'm on the right lines.
  3. No probs at all. I think you'll be looking £1k for one
  4. Happy birthday for tomorrow Kev! 🎊🎉🎈🎂
  5. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  6. Happy new year to you too Gareth. Hope 2023 bring ls you lots of health and happiness 🙂

Yep I believe A3 ones will fit as I'm sure the vents are the same 🙂
  8. Have a look at buyers guides on YouTube. Check the service history. Make sure Cambelt and water pump has been changed on time. And the gearbox servicing has been done. If quattro make sure the tyre tread matches as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system. Also make sure all electrical items work as AC and lights can be expensive to repair or replace.
  9. I'd recommend speaking to autologics as they've been used by various members for retrofits. You'll need to get it all coded to the car.
  10. Yep the letter denotes how up to date the part is. You'll find the light will have to be coded to the car regardless I suspect.
  11. Cambelt and water pump changed? Definitely worth getting haladex and gearbox oil changed for peace of mind. Do all electrical items work? AC, headlights etc. As it's quattro are the tyres the sane brands and even tread on the same axles as uneven tyre wear can damage the quattro system. Also worth checking YouTube for buyers guides. Remaps - have a look at Celtic tuning website as they have a configurator which can give you an estimate on upgrade figures.
  12. As you can see the indicators are stuck on when the stalk is used. I'm suspecting the hazard switch or one of two relays In the switch has failed. What are your thoughts?
  13. I think this might require additional work. I'd recommend speaking to autologics about any retrofits. Various members have used them to great success.
  14. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. You could have damaged the wiring etc in the process.
  15. Glad this thread helped you. 🙂
  16. Besides the diagnostic check what have you done? Sounds like the module needs replacing
  17. They're rare as hens teeth. eBay is your best bet but they won't be cheap! Might be cheaper to get the soft top roof repaired or replaced.
  18. Take a look at brembo as they're a good make.
  19. Sounds like you're on the right track. Might be worth getting the garage to check the condition of the bullets when you get the work done
  20. I'd recommend powerflow exhausts my brother and friends have used them and had good results.
  21. I'd recommend a diagnostic check
  22. Great write up Jack. Looking forward to our Norwegian road trip in August 🙂 fingers crossed my old A6 makes it there and back! 🤞
