  1. I agree with Gareth on this one. It might be worth you contacting Audi customer services as you may find they'll need to put you in contact with someone at Audi in Germany. Just out of curiosity, how much was it to have it shipped from south Africa? And how long did it take for the car to arrive? And who did your brother use? If you don't mind me asking?
  2. As I suspect the car is still under warranty I'd be taking it back to main dealer pronto. As fault codes will be stored on the ecu. The fact it's red would imply it's more of a concern. As a yellow warning says to contact your local dealer. Sorry I can't help more but with the a3 8v a similar issue was down to a faulty fuel pump. And on the a4 b9 it was down to various issues.
  3. This might help: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/649334-Where-is-the-Headlight-Auto-Level-(Range-Control)-Module-Located Needless to say I think you're looking in the right place.
  4. I think this is down to the mmi. Might be worth to see if there's an update for it.
  5. I believe the door pins fail causing this issue. Situated on the a pillar I think.
  6. Please let me know once you've booked tickets ☺️

  8. Hmm In.thst case it shouldn't be the oil as 14k miles isnt that high. Your next port of call would be a diagnostic check.
  9. If this is s-tronic then my first port of call would be to look at when the gearbox oil was last changed as degrading oil can affect the gear selection. In failing that it could be the module.
  10. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  11. When was the gearbox oil last changed? Could it be a gearbox mount?
  12. Looks lovely. I'll never get rid of my c5 that's for sure.
  13. I'd definitely recommend a diagnostic check as a failing maf, dpf or egr temp sensor or injector fault should come up.
  14. Definitely could be turbo or a leaking pipe from.the turbo.
  15. My advice would be to get a recovery firm out or get it to a garage for either of them to do a to diagnostic check. Due to the age of your Audi it's worth looking at when the main battery was last changed as it could be failing. An average battery life is between 5-7 years.
  16. I've emailed the organisers for a club display. Ill let you know once they've got back to me 🙂
  17. You're welcome 😊
  18. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Two code readers that are common are vag com or VCDS. Usually the steering wheel controls will have to be replaced but they just plug in. Better off trying a second hand unit first.
  19. Sounds like a great plan 🙂

  21. Sounds like you've done a great amount of diagnostics and work. If the diagnostic check says a starter motor then that would be my next port of call.
  22. Welcome to the forum Gary you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Great history on Audi you have glad you love the brand 🙂
  23. OK... Just working out the costs involved for a road trip to Bulgaria: LeShuttle from Folkstone/Dover to Calais approx £150 (each way). Then drive through Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania and finally arrive in Varna/Bulgaria! This is just under 1,700 miles, my camper does approx. 25mpg so estimated to use about 68 -70 gallons of diesel (4 or 5 tanks). Average £5.60 per gallon (highest UK price, some countries a lot cheaper!) so I'm looking about £380 - £400 worst fuel bill each way. Vignettes are about £60 for various countries. So the total return trip should be less than £1,200? (£600'ish each way). We're in no hurry BTW, and plan to camp in Germany, Austria & Hungary on the way! Should take about 4 days to get to Varna Bulgaria! 😁👍 Anyone done this trip?
  24. My advice would be to inspect the front sensors for damage along with the wiring. This might help: Also if it's the module I believe you have to get the exact same part number including the matching letter.
