  1. Welcome to the forum Tony, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) For any car I've owned I've always looked at eBay and Gumtree first off :) Cheers Steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Mark, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You have bought a cracking Audi if I do say so myself. And it's not like I'm biased 😉 The correct gearbox for your a6 would have been the CVT auto. However if this has failed on the car at some point then a later gearbox may have been fitted but I wouldn't be able to say for certain. Cheers Steve
  3. I bet it will :) I'd be interested in getting this done to my a6 to be honest.
  4. Welcome to the forum Craig, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You can recover early history for your a4 from Audi as they should have ball the servicing info and work carried out whilst under warranty. It sounds like the clutch could be on it's way out, what miles is the car on? Oh and if you're unsure on when the car was last serviced then it might be worth you getting a major service carried out. The 1.9tdi engine is a pretty tough engine and it has a cambelt. Where is the bubbling on the paint? Cheers Steve
  5. Not bad motors but you're right about the engine being Abit gruffer.
  6. Correct Paul! To jog your memory he rides a scooter
  7. Hi Alan, which springs did you go for in the end? To be fair I suspect your car will be fully adjustable for camber, toe in and out. Now that you've had the springs fitted I'd recommend a 4 wheel alignment as the a3 is quattro. Cheers Steve
  8. Lol 😂 And you are correct Paul! It is a Tom Hanks film but which one....
  9. 😮 oh no! That's not good!! Hope it gets sorted soon.
  10. Thats a result! :) Glad it's all working :) Cheers Steve
  11. Here's a harder one for you Paul! You're just too good at this game lol 😂
  12. Hi Phillip, before you jump to assume it's the pump have you checked the fuse? If you've tried to use the washers in this very cold weather then the fuse could have blown. Cheers Steve
  13. You're welcome, glad I could help :) Please let us know how you get on and I do hope that the new sensor solves the problem :) Cheers Steve

  18. Welcome to the forum Craig, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I agree with Gareth on this but if it's not the tyres then it could be the tracking. Cheers Steve
