Thanks Steve for the reply it is when the engine is warm the problem starts I am taking it to a garage on Tuesday but it would be nice to know beforehand what it may be. photo of the dash with a warning sign I think
Hmm, what does your hand book say?
I'd like to think it's just a sensor to be honest. I say this because you've not experienced any over heating.

Welcome to the forum Lee you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :)
I don't think the B8 version (mk1) q5 ever had this option. I would suspect there are aftermarket kits available but you'd have to modify the lights obviously.
Sorry I can't help more.

Have you had a diagnostic check carried out on the car at all? If not, then it would be recommend.
I'm wondering if the car is having trouble starting when the engine is warm. Are all the dials showing any issues? Ie temp?
Sorry I can't help more

You are referring to yours as a pre facelift I believe to make the new lights fit, you'll need to change the lights, bumper, bonnet and potentially the wings I believe.

Hi Alan, I'm not sure if they will fit but I have a couple of wheel charts that may help. Here's the link:

Hi John I think you're right. I always take it AC motors in Syston. They are very reasonable for changing bulbs :)

Thanks mate! :)
Don't worry mate, I know how it feels to be busy and rushed off your feet!
Sorry to hear your daughter is being bullied :( my brother had the same thing recently and the perpetrator has been expelled. Schools are horrendous places, not one day goes by where I wish I was back at school. I absolutely hated it!
Hope it all gets resolved quickly as I know how long these things can be drawn out.

Deffo worth a try but I thought the battery needed coding.

Hi Greg, more often than not central locking problems relate to the central locking module failing or believe it or not the drivers door locking mechanism (as was the case on my much older a6). A locking mechanism should cost you around £120 to fix but if it's the module, it'll be a lot more but unsure on a figure, sorry.
Sorry I can't help more.

Hi Mark your mechanic is right, the battery will need coding to the car. Audi can do this or I believe it can be done if you or a friend has vag com. To be fair though, Audi shouldn't charge you too much for this.
Sorry I can't help more
Cheers :)

Don't forget to see if they have the service history for the recon engine. I appreciate you have seen the history for the car but the recon engine will have it's own story to tell. If they've fitted an engine but have no service history for it then you could end up with various problems if it's not been maintained properly.

Hi Sean, you can upgrade to the ice blue style ones (xenon style) these should improve visibility. If it were me I'd buy ones from somewhere like halfords where you know they are road legal.
Hope I'v helped :)
