Hi John, sorry I've missed your post. Of course we can reserve you a place on the club display :) Cheers Steve -
Looks lovely Chris! You can definitely try the fuel sender but don't forget the mk1 TT suffered from fault instrument clusters. I believe 2 recalls we're issued. Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Ollie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Have you noticed if there are any warning lights come on the dash when the beeps happen? I say this as the warning beeps can occur for all sorts of reasons. I'd also advise getting a diagnostic check carried out. Cheers Steve -

So, last weekend my brother and I painted his brake calipers and drums on his Suzuki swift. I appreciate that isn't Audi related, however the method is exactly the same if any members would like to do the same to their Audi. Walk through guide: 1. Jack the car up and remove the wheel. We did one brake at a time but ideally using axel stands are recommend. Also I'd recommend wearing gloves as we found the paint a nightmare to get off our hands!! 2. Clean the caliper with the use of a wire brush and brake cleaning spray and wipe off the dirt. And don't forget to mask off areas where you don't want paint reaching. Brake drums are pre-painted so wire brushing is not required. But brake cleaner is a must and again wipe off the dirt. Don't forget to mask off the areas which you don't want painting. 3. Now the fun bit! We used halfords red paint which has to be applied with a paint brush. We felt this would be easier then dismantling the brakes or running the risk of getting spray paint everywhere. We ended up applying 5 coats of paint, leaving 10-15mins between each coat. Depending on your Audi you may need to apply more or less coats but just play it by ear and use your judgement. 4. Leave the paint to touch dry before attempting to put the wheels back on. Let's face it, you don't want to chip the freshly painted calipers/drums or get wet paint on your wheels! 5. Once the paint is touch dry then refit the wheel(s) and let the paint dry for 24 hours. This obviously means you can't drive your car during that time as the brake dust and road dirt will affect the paint finish. 6. After the 24 hour period you can now admire your work! Or if need be apply another coat of paint if need be. If that's the case then repeat stage 2 onwards. Have fun! Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Jamie, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Have you had a diagnostic check carried out to see what fault codes flag up? I'm wondering if the noise is linked to the heating/air con system but I am just guessing here. Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Mario, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Vibration through the steering when braking sounds like warped discs in my opinion. When we're the brakes last changed? Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Ryan, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) The other things you could look at changing are the ht leads, distributor and spark plugs to see if that improves the starting of the a4. Cheers Steve -
