  1. Thought I'd share this image of a fellow members a6 which was shared on the club Facebook page. Needless to say it's not what you expect when you drive your Audi! I'm a bit confused by the front flat tyre though! Cheers Steve
  2. Hi John I believe the fusebox is under the dash in the passenger side footwell. There will be a plastic cover you need to remove. Cheers Steve
  3. Glad you've made progress and let's hope it runs well now :) Cheers Steve
  4. My advice would be to go out on the test drive with the technicians. Also creeking suspension could be down to worn bushes on the upper or lower suspension arms. My dad has had an 8v and I've driven various ones whilst in the motor trade and can never say I've driven one with creeking suspension. Cheers Steve
  5. Was it a mass produced car for the road or was it a race car? I want to say auto Union or NSU but in probably well off!
  6. Welcome to the forum Scotty, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Could the sloshing sound be fuel in the tank? I ask this I've had this experience in a Ford kuga before when I had a full tank. Just seeing if it only happens when your fuel tank is full. Or could there be water in the wheel well? What have Audi said? Cheers Steve
  7. Glad you got sorted Andrew :) all's well that ends well :) Cheers Steve
  8. Welcome to the forum Alf, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) My advice would be to either get a diagnostic check carried out or contact an auto electrician. But you can disconnect the battery first as this may reset the system. The key question you have to ask yourself is why is the TT battery gone flat? (,I'm assuming it's used daily). Cheers Steve
  9. Yep I believe it's standard on all models. Did it not auto lock.on the test drive? If it didn't, Mark is right in saying you can activate the setting through the MMI. Cheers Steve
  10. Obviously your car is at risk but I'd say the risk is low. Better to get it done sooner rather than later. Cheers Steve
  11. Welcome to the forum Scott, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Great list of cars you have and the Sprint blue colour is stunning! Feel free to have a look at our events section, as you'd be more than welcome to display your Audi on the club displays at up and coming shows :) Cheers Steve
  12. That's interesting Piotr, I never knew that! Cheers Steve
  13. Welcome to the forum Aled, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Bet you can't wait to get your s4! Don't forget to keep an eye on the build tracker :) Cheers Steve
  14. With home ownership you send up living in your money if you see what I mean. The s3 looks great and you'd be more than welcome to display it with the club at any of the up and coming shows :) Cheers Steve
  15. Glad it's passed the Mot :) Forgot you were from Leicester John! We'll have to have an Audi meet at some point :) Cheers Steve
  16. That's great news about the engine :) let's hope Tom sorts the steering and you'll have made great progress :) Would love to see some more pics of the a8 :) Cheers Steve
  17. Yea Audi security is better. The disc lock will fit straight on but I'm wondering if only certain stoplocks fit due to the shape of the airbag on your steering wheel. Cheers Steve
  18. Welcome to the forum Justin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Yes the bodyshells are the same. However the s3/rs3 have a bigger grill and arches. So they aren't a direct fit. Cheers Steve
  19. Result! Glad you got sorted :) Cheers Steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Damon, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Your Audi dealer is correct and you only get one boot light on your model. I believe you get 2 on the s line model and higher. Unless you had selected the storage pack when you ordered the car, in which case you would have got 2. Cheers Steve
  21. Result! All's well that ends well :)
  22. The 3 types of seats: Se normal style seats S line - more side and leg support S/RS - recaro seats Your model is a c6 which was in production from 2005-2011 C7 is from 2012 onwards My model which is older than yours is a c5 made between 1997-2005. The c4 a6 was made before 1997. Hope that's helped :) Cheers Steve
