Sorry, I should have been more specific. You can plug a connection for the aux into the back of the radio and then fit the aux socket can be installed on the dash. A good place to fit.the aux socket is in one of the switch blanking plates near to the esp light. So the first pic shows the blanking plates below the left air vent. As you can also see, once the radio is out of the dash you can plug the aux connection in the back. The second pic shows the type of aux you can fit. I've also found this YouTube video which may help. I'm assuming you don't have satnav. Do both front windows not work or just one? Great pics! I'll add them to our Audi's from around the world thread :) Cheers Steve

Welcome to the forum Kevin, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Sounds a very nice spec of A7 you're going to look at :) Is the car for sale at a garage or private seller? Obviously have a look at the service history and ideally this should be full. Also make sure that the gear changes are smooth both in auto and manual mode as any faults can be expensive to fix. Also make sure that all electronic items work as these too can be expensive to put right. One key area to look at are tyres. Are they the same make and I'd the tread wear the same? I ask this as the Quattro system can be sensitive and can be damaged by uneven tyre wear. Joined with this be careful if the car as Dunlop maxx tyres. There have been cases on here of the splitting. Here's the thread for more info: It's also worth getting an independent inspection carried out by companies such as the AA or RAC. If the seller is reluctant or refuses to have the inspection carried out then you have to wonder what they or the car has to hide. Here are also a couple of YouTube videos which may also help: This one has English subtitles a7 review Hope I've helped :) Cheers Steve- The Word Association Thread

Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) In my experience the windows on both doors should go down slight when you open the door. However it isn't unheard of the components inside the window mechanism to wear out. However I have also found that if the battery is low on charge or has been completely flat then this can also cause this issue. I'm unsure on the carbon build up though. I can't say I've come across it on here before on the 2.0 petrol TT. Cheers :) Steve- Oil?
Hi Dave, if it helps Audi recommend Castrol Edge Professional long life 3 which is 5w 30. Here's the link: https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing-maintenance-mot/audi-oil.html Cheers Steve- The Word Association Thread

This is a tough one Robert. One the one hand I can agree with Paul if the garage are willing to foot the bill. However on modern, high tech cars electrical issues can cause numerous issues later down the line if that makes sense especially if the ecu is damaged. I'd be tempted to ask for your money back as it is (in my opinion) a big risk. Cheers Steve - The Word Association Thread
