  1. Welcome to the forum:) a very good find you have there! :) sorry I can't be of any more help with your questions though! Cheers steve
  2. Hello Leanne, welcome to the forum:) sorry to hear of your predicament. Well done for keeping the car so long! How many miles are on her? Iv had a look on eBay and found these. Don't know if it will be suitable as it's not the same part number https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282430644484 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262955912086 it might be worth seeing if the same style door locks were fitted to passats, golfs, Audi 100 etc from the same era. I hope I'm not telling you how to suck eggs! Cheers Steve
  3. Glad your pleased! :) but it's hard not too, the a7 is a lovely car! :) I'm very surprised the camera is cheaper than the mirrors!
  4. Neither is mine but it's just about getting a stand together to promote the club :)
  5. Right we are officially on the VAG Tuner Live website. So those who are attending. Please select whether your displaying your Audi under the parking section and select the club (it'll come up as audiownersclub.com). Tickets are £10 and those who are displaying their cars need to be at donington for 8am :) cheers Steve
  6. More on this brochure to come once iv sorted out the issue of my photo upload capacity. I'm now down to 0.74mb!
  7. Welcome to the forum Kevin :) you'll find the members on here a friendly bunch :)
  8. Good bit of advice there! Top work! :)
  9. Welcome to the forum :) sorry to hear your selling your s3. What are you changing to? Put the add in our for sale section :) cheers steve
  10. Unfortunately the allroads seem to be few and far between. There is some what if an exclusivity about them. What spec you after? Have you had a play with the Audi configurator? Itl give you a better idea of the options Available. However be warned, this could make your decision harder! If that makes sense! Keep us posted on how you get on :) I'm assuming you want the 3.0tdi?
  11. Your welcome :) Leon sounds like a more feasible proposition for you in my opinion and yes the intercooler cools the turbo :) but to be fair if you start off with the basics: induction kit, sports exhaust/manifold, tyres, brakes, and suspension it'll be a good start :)
  12. Welcome to the forum :) good choice of Audi by the way. I'm not aware of any for sale on here but your best bet would be auto trader, eBay or audi approved used :) cheers steve
  13. Welcome to the forum Jonesy :) you'll find members on hear are friendly and helpful :) if you have at queries then don't hesitate to post. Oh and don't forget to upload a pic of your a6 and to check out the events pages :) cheers steve
  14. Oops sorry! My mistake haha! Normally im good at picking up sarcasm as I'm very good with it myself ;) dont worry you didn't offend me or any of us :) I don't get offended easily don't worry :) the poll is a good idea! :) I'll speak to Trevor to see how we put a poll on the forum :) Thanks again! :) cheers Steve
  15. Sorry you feel this way Fraser. I'm sure admin will sort it :) my stickers arrived today. So il apply them once the car is back from the garage and when she's clean so I can see how they look. Il let you know how I get on :) cheers steve
  16. Your welcome :) Well thought of Dan! Tyres are very important too! Seat Leon Cupra is a fantastic car and and a great alternative :) a work colleague has a heavily modded one and it is quick (at least 160mph iv seen from his) they should be cheaper too :) oh an upgraded intercooler could be advisable ;) theres a few of us going to VAG Tuner Live on Sunday 16th July if you want to join us? Might beba good way to get some ideas :) check out the events page for more info :)
  17. Welcome to the forum :) In my honest opinion I think the a3 you've suggested has too higher mileage. You'd be better off getting one with less 100k miles and with full service history. For any track car coilovers or suspension kit is a good idea. I.e. Lowered springs with matching dampers. And uprated Brakes is recommended. All thebengine mods are correct too :) hope iv helped cheers steve
  18. Welcome to the forum :) you have a tough decision to make as both the a4 and a4 allroad are nice cars. The lowest spec a4 avant with the 218ps 3.0tdi, s tronic box and Quattro is a sport model which is approx £36,965 the cheapest a4 all-road with the 218ps 3.0tdi, s tronic box and Quattro is the trim line spec (entry level) and is £38,695. It depends if you want to spend the extra money on the allroad In my opinion the allroad has more road presence. I see a white one when I am on my way back from work and it Deffo stands out. For an extra £600 you can have the allroad body kit painted the same colour as the car if you want to make it more subtle. The allroad has more exclusivity about it and the two models iv highlighted as comparison will drive similar to be honest as the engine power and gearboxes are the same. Hope iv helped :) cheers steve
  19. Your welcome :) i did look for instructions on the internet but with no success. Cheers steve
  20. Iv got her booked in to the garage, and have put the Belgium road trip back a week or so
  21. Welcome to the forum :) my best advice would be to get a haynes manual for your a3. They're really useful to have handy! :) cheers steve
  22. Thanks all for your help :) it couldn't have come at a worse time to be honest. As I'm due to take the a6 to Belgium to see my sister who has just moved there! the a6 will be with the garage for a while I think! Its really annoying as it's only done it twice in the last 2 weeks. But that's twice too many!
  23. Welcome to the forum :) you'll find the guys and gels on here are a friendly bunch :) I'm not surprised your excited! The a7 is a lovely car. Whites a great colour for it and even better it's the black edition :) unsure about the camera but I think the folding mirror feature can be retro fitted. Cheers Steve
