Audi A2 Winter Project
Sorry for the delayed reply. At least it starts :) Keep us posted on how you get on, but sounds like you've got a good winter project :) power steering wise, is it making any whining noises? Or no noise at all? It could be the pump that's gone. Cheers Steve

Cruise Control Question
Hi John I don't believe the a6 has a light on the dash to tell you the cruise control is on. My a6 has been owned by my family from new and I know it's never had a light on to tell you it's activated. Thinking about it, it is odd that Audi didn't fit this, however maybe they assumed that people would know cruise was on anyway. Hope I'v helped :) Cheers Steve

s4 flat bottomed steering wheei
Hi Dean welcome to the forum :) You'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) You're right it should go straight on. I also believe the a3 flat bottom steering wheel fits too. I think you may need the airbag coding to the car once the steering wheel is fitted :) In find it odd that it's not come with it already to be honest. What did the dealer say about it? Cheers Steve

A4 2000 petrol automatic starting problem
Hmm, what does your hand book say? I'd like to think it's just a sensor to be honest. I say this because you've not experienced any over heating.

SQ5 Dynamic indicators
Welcome to the forum Lee you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) I don't think the B8 version (mk1) q5 ever had this option. I would suspect there are aftermarket kits available but you'd have to modify the lights obviously. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve

A4 2000 petrol automatic starting problem
Welcome to the forum Vivian you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch :) Have you had a diagnostic check carried out on the car at all? If not, then it would be recommend. I'm wondering if the car is having trouble starting when the engine is warm. Are all the dials showing any issues? Ie temp? Sorry I can't help more Cheers Steve

Audi a3
You are referring to yours as a pre facelift I believe to make the new lights fit, you'll need to change the lights, bumper, bonnet and potentially the wings I believe.

A6 side Light Bulb
Hi John I think you're right. I always take it AC motors in Syston. They are very reasonable for changing bulbs :)

Its Friday...............
Thanks mate! :) Don't worry mate, I know how it feels to be busy and rushed off your feet! Sorry to hear your daughter is being bullied :( my brother had the same thing recently and the perpetrator has been expelled. Schools are horrendous places, not one day goes by where I wish I was back at school. I absolutely hated it! Hope it all gets resolved quickly as I know how long these things can be drawn out.

Central locking problem (no pulse fault)
Hi Greg, more often than not central locking problems relate to the central locking module failing or believe it or not the drivers door locking mechanism (as was the case on my much older a6). A locking mechanism should cost you around £120 to fix but if it's the module, it'll be a lot more but unsure on a figure, sorry. Sorry I can't help more. Cheers Steve

Battery replaced - need new code
Hi Mark your mechanic is right, the battery will need coding to the car. Audi can do this or I believe it can be done if you or a friend has vag com. To be fair though, Audi shouldn't charge you too much for this. Sorry I can't help more Cheers :) Steve
