  1. I'm with Gareth, I would certainly say your a4 has air con Brad :) May just need a regard or air con service. Regis should cost approx £30 and a full service should cost around £60. the worst case scenario for the air con not working is a failed pump/condenser. This is the problem with my a6 but iv been quoted approx £1000 to fix the system! In my case i know the air on doesn't work as the car puts econ on automatically and even when turned off it comes back on. Cheers steve
  2. Welcome to the forum Miguel :) youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you if you have any questions :) feel free to post a pic of your a4 when you get a chance :) cheers steve
  3. That's cool :) looks really good Dave :)
  4. I'm assuming it's heat resistant?
  5. Lol lets face it. The French cars are wacky! Oh just to mention. Fitting grooved or drilled discs could potentially increase your brake pad wear.
  6. Glad I could help :) btw iv moved this thread out of the recalls section to the a6 c6 section. Now that was back in the day! cars have got a lot more technical and complicated now! Cheers steve
  7. Looking good Dave :) nice to see a colour other than red :) cheers steve
  8. What if You get grooved or drilled discs of the same size as the standard discs? Cheers steve
  9. I don't think you'd have to change anything apart from the discs. As long as they are the same size as your cuttent ones :) if your going for discs are you changing to fast road pads too? Cheers steve
  10. Hi Yaz, i believe you can damage the engine by not having the idle pulley. Could you not call out a mobile mechanic to try and sort it? Cheers steve
  11. Your welcome :) unfortunately I'm not sure where you get the repair kits from but I assume any Audi specialists should be able o help :) cheers steve
  12. Welcome to the forum james :) Could this be to do with the swirl flaps? If so a repair kit will cost around £80 cheers steve
  13. Nice one John! Thanks for letting me know :) cheers steve
  14. Welcome to the forum :) youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you where they can :) cheers steve
  15. Welcome to the forum Gary :) youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you where they can. I would suspect both to be honest. Cheers steve
  16. Welcome to the forum Chros, sorry to hear you've had your a3 stolen. Let's hope it turns up! I'm sure the members on here will keep an eye out. Cheers steve
  17. Deffo looks a popular upgrade but I can see why the steering wheels on the vans are naff in comparison to the cars! Sorry for getting you to doubt yourself! Your full of useful info Dan! :)
  18. I stand corrected :) nice one Dan, it's good to know a3 steering wheels fit and I thought you'd have to have them coded :) cheers steve
  19. Welcome to the forum Marty :) youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you where they can. Unfortunately I can't be much help I'm afraid. Chers steve
  20. Welcome to the forum Kieran :) youll find the members on here are a friendly bunch and will help you where they can :) what engine is in your a6? I'm assuming it's the 3.0tdi? I believe the intake manifold swirl flap issue is a common one. And I believe you can get a repair kit which costs approx £80. This issue is mentioned in the current issue of Audi Tuner magazine. As they are have a whole buyers guide on the a6 c6 3.0tdi. Might be worth you buying it :) in terms of worst case scenario I'm unsure to be honest. But if it were me I'd get it fixed and not run the risk. Having the car go into limp mode whilst on holiday would be a nightmare! Just make sure you have break down cover. Sorry if I'm telling you how to suck eggs! Cheers steve
  21. Your most welcome:)
  22. As I say, I know it can be done as you see it in the Audi Tuner mags all the time :) could you not look at other steering wheels which were designed for your model i.e. S6 or rs6? Or the accessory wheels on offer at the time? This woukd probs be the easiest option to be honest :) cheers steve
