Thank you for joining and advertising Samcurman. Having said that, I really don’t see this being particularly inviting as listed. Could you please amend your Profile to include your location - big place is your ‘united kingdom’! This would be considered important detail since it’s likely this would be sold via. ‘Collection only’. Other vital details not included:- Price. ( ‘Offers’ not acceptable). Condition. Please come back to us on all points raised. Regards, Gareth.

Hi everyone, I bought my Audi A6 black edition 2017 a few months back. Unfortunately the car doesn't have the apple CarPlay not even a USB port 🤣 I'm thinking of replacing the sat nav with a new one which has the carplay but I can't find someone who can change it for me and recommend a good sat nav in London! I would appreciate any suggestions on this matter! May thanks in advance!

Lost Communication with tcm after jump start
dannyanny246 replied to dannyanny246's topic in Audi A3 (8P) Forum
Just pulled the cover off the module, everything looks in decent order, no fried bits. Gave everything a thorough blast with contact cleaner. Put it back together and plugged it back in. And sadly nothing. -
Please keep us posted on how you get on. Also the VW T-Roc or Seat Ateca one might fit as they're sisters to the q2.

Glad we've helped 🙂

Looks great 👍 🙂

Audi would have the original part number for the unit, not sure what other way you could get the original part number.

Most certainly does 😉

Thanks for the above responses. I tried again to remove the sensor with the help of youtube videos. I was successful this time and was able to fit the new part myself. Fault message was removed automatically as suggested by the video and all is good. I did not have to get a diagnostic test. I understand Audi is aware of this common problem and have since modified the part. I hope this is of assistance to anyone having the same issue.

Audi A3 How can I remove part of the dashboard?
daveyboy1967 replied to Bob1954's topic in New Members Introductions
I totally agree with Gareth on this, unless you have access to a very good workshop manual. If you get it wrong broken trim can be surprisingly expensive to replace, and very ugly if you don't. -
I was thinking more fluxcompassador myself !

We can see you have returned to the forum within the last hour or so, so can you now add to/ clarify your post please?

I'm highly confident it's cambelt.
-
I'd consider either the headlight switch or the indicator stalks/relay.

Mine’s back too. Spooky!

OK, AutoCarPart1 (4592) in Brum has a pair £146.82 incl delivery.....does this sound reasonable? There are MUCH cheaper on Ebay but I thought a mid range price would be fairly safe.....should I be asking myself "what are you like" or am I probably OK with these? Thoughts welcome.

Does anyone know what this part is called on a ng engine
IHK 11 replied to IHK 11's topic in Classic Audi Club
Hi its under the thin one. It looks like a bracket mounted to the side of the engine. It has 2 bolts holding it on and looks like it may have a gasket. Thanks.
