I suspect your computer believes "incase" (as one word) to be a name or proper noun, though it should actually be two words "in case". Do you have Incase listed in the computer dictionary by chance? If so, try deleting it. -

Helicoil is more than strong enough for the job, BUT you do need to accurately centre the drill bit and keep it square, which rules out a hand held drill unless you have a fair bit of experience in using one. - Today

2017 (B9) A4 Avant 2.0 TDi S-Line Special Edition

No concerns, I'm fairly happy that it is a S-Line (Insurers database says it is), just the Special Edition badge on the back puzzled me. Current (outgoing) A4 Avant I have is a 2014 2.0L TDi Technik SE. AFAIK, this is the base model for this year. Its a bit dull and boring (compared to the 2017 Jag XJR that also sits on the drive) so its getting replaced with the more powerful 190Hp and newer interior B9 A4 Avant. I'll take your advice though and ask the local Audi dealership in Belfast for more details. Thanks again. -
Hi I have an Audi a5 sportback 2017 and would like to know if the ecu has a top plastic cover or it should be bare metal. as you can see at the moment there is no cover on mine but I’m not sure if there should be a cover or not. any advice would be appreciated. cheers David

Hello all. New member. Soon to be replacing my 2014 B8.5 A4 Avant 2.0L TDi Technik SE with a newer 2017 B9 A4 Avant 2.0L S-Line SE. Familiar with forums, have been using them for years - mod on a Jag forum (can I say that without everyone going Jaaaaag?) Looking for information and help where I can.

All you guy's that have changed all their Hoses for Silicone ones did you change the Heater ones 8D0819371G AND 8D0819373H If so have any of you still got them hanging around your garage...Thanks..

I’ve got an elder brother, and I do the annual comparison site etc. trawl for him, so I get advance notice of what’s due to be coming my way. At least it minimises the surprise factor! . Thanks Lance, It could be me being out of touch, but £1,400 for the work you outline does seem a bit heavy on the pencil, as we say in these parts. If it were mine, I would be seeking alternative quotes from trusted local garages before committing. Do you know what make of parts are going to be used with your current quote? Kind regards, Gareth.

You will need cut before rear box and weld S3 box with 4 tips onto it.. and plus u will have to get new rear S3 bumper or if u wanna mess with difuser removal get just that

Hi guys I have just purchased and installed a Bluetooth adapter to my A4 B7 Concert radio. I can see the Bluetooth transmitting and can connect my iPhone to it. I cannot select it from the radio. I assume it emulates being a CD multi changer but if I select CD it just says no disc. Do you think that somewhere, maybe VCDS, I have to tell the car it has a multi changer? Lost at the moment. Waiting for reply from supplier. Any help would be appreciated.

My guess is that the GPS antenna, which is separate from the radio antenna, is faulty. I don't know if it is internal or external to the unit.

The cigarette lighter has stopped working and I am struggling to locate the fuse. It's a 2017 A1 1.4TFSi. The manual suggests the fuse is a 20A fuse located in the end of the dashboard (RHD drivers side). When looking at where this fuse should be there is no fuse there and no wiring going to where it is stated it should be. Any body else had this problem and knows where the fuse is located please? photo shows the fuses. should be a 20A fuse below the 40A fuse (position no.3) Thanks Rob
