HELP

I have an Audi A3 sportsback 57 plate and can’t get the drivers door to open from either the inside or outside. Even tried using the key on the drivers door rather than the central locking and still no luck! 

Hi Ann, my advice would be to get an auto locksmith out to have a look.

I assume you mean the door won't unlock rather than being physically jammed by crash damage or the like.

If the other doors work then the chances are that the driver's door lock has failed. If none of the other doors operate then the central locking system has failed. Either way there is little you can do yourself unless you are handy with tools.

Have you called any locksmith to unlock the jammed doors?

I would expect she has solved the problem since it has been nine months from posing the question, but in the absence of any reply from Ann we can only guess.

I also agree with you, the problem must be resolved and giving suggestions about hiring emergency locksmith firms is not suitable at all.

I’m rather lost by your comment that recommending getting assistance from a locksmith - at the time- is/was not suitable at all.

They are both spammers Gareth. Note that they both promote specific locksmiths which I have no doubt they own.
