New EGR and now getting P0405 CODE.

Featured Replies

2.0 TDI now running perfect with new EGR valve but now showing P0405 code, been told I bought a too cheap valve (£145 fuel parts) which has different pin configuration?

Anyone had similar problems with the more affordable range of valves? I could have got one half the price of mine if it wasn't going to work!

Thanks, I'll do research to see if I can work out that is, not a lot of info on the EGR sensor location!

Hi back to basics, did you do a re learn of the new values, adaptations, if not that could be your problem, the only other thing it could be is the inlet manifold is bunged up and will require stripping and cleaning and a new gasket set.

Steve.
