Sm07key01
Once the engine has started, in drive and selecting efficiency the display changes the 'D' into an 'E'. Firstly what does the E stand for? ( you may say it stands for efficiency however when in 'D' it says 'Efficiency' underneath it anyway.) Secondly, when you switch the car off and then get back into it and start it, it restores it back to 'D' Anyone have any idea?
Steve Q
I believe E is eco mode. I suspect the car won't put itself in eco mode straight away as it wants to get the engine and gearbox up to running temperature. I think this should be mentioned in the owners handbook.

Cheers Steve 👍 Interesting thing is that the car lets me put it into E by cycling the drive select back to efficiency even when the car is cold. From what i am hearing tho, id doesn't make much of a difference to the economy
Steve Q
Truthfully any auto I've driven I've never moved it out of the usual drive mode. But this is msinly down to laziness lol.
