my mate had that  done  it broke his audi a3 bottom end  so i would not chance it

The guy said it goes in your airbox or something and cleans all the carbon gunk out

Cheers for the heads up kev jus cancelled the carbon clean and jus getting diagnostic done thanks

Hi I personally would be more interested in having the diagnostics and sorting out whatever comes up from that before finding new and diverse ways of making a good car in to a wreck.

Hi steve had diagnostics done all good jus came up with glow plug cylinder 4 circuit p0674 had a carbon clean too for 40 pound 

I've heard horror stories too from carbon cleaning. In my experience keeping on top of maintenance is what keeps older Audi's going. It's not cheap but keeps mine reliable.
