Bought an A7 Audi S LINE, BLACK EDITION QUATTRO 3 LITRE, AND HAVE SPILT ACID CLEANER ON FRONT PASSENGER SEAT AND RUINED THE LEATHER (MOON SILVER) HELP ?

Featured Replies

HELLO, New member here.

I bought a nice A7 (2017) WITH moon silver leather interior, and within 2 weeks I spilt some acid cleaner on the front passenger seat, which has ruined he base leather !!  I AM GUTTED!

TRIED SOME interior specialists who have said cannot do a recover, (Audi want £900 for a new cover plus fitting, clips etc, so £1200 plus)

Anyone know a specialist who could repair? or anyone know of seat for sale from a crashed car?

also need drivers side door card (piano black, moon silver insert) ? Mine had a !Removed! burn in the insert with a bad repair!

Hello Jeremy,

Thanks  for joining the forum, and sorry to hear of your plight.

Well worth while registering your ‘want’ with on-line car breaker link sites such as Partsfinder - there are more.

Kind regards,

Gareth.

Finally got the problem fixed at a local leather interior guy SG STYLING (LEEDS). He did a great job at a reasonable price.

No one to blame but myself! Happy person now.
