Car cut out while driving now wont start

Hi have a a4 b7 2.0 tdi car cut out while driving now wont start it is cranking but wont start if anyone can help thanks

Hi steve checked everything no code the fuel pump is working battery and alteenator fine thinkinking its the crankshaft sensor do you know where it is thanks

Hi the sensor will either be down by the crank pulley or at the back of the engine in its own recess where the g/box joins the engine about half way down on the r/h side looking at it from the  front of the car.

Thanks steve had a look at forum and few videos and it looks like its behind the oil filter housing on the right hand side like you said . I will take a few things apart tommorow and have a look thanks for help

Any solutions for this, it happened to mine last week, but isn’t the crankshaft sent
