Air bag light illuminated

Featured Replies

Need some advice please- own a A4 avant B8 S-line 2.7 TDI multitronic.

Had gearbox problem so changed that to a second hand part which was installed by my mechanic. The ECU code on gearbox wasn't matching up so was sent to another garage with the software to re-code it. When it came back the Air Bag light had come on.

On VagCom code is reading J234 no signal/communication from Air bag ECU.

Any advice as to what caused this?

Hi it sounds like they might have spiked the air bag module.

Steve.
