Q7 cut out now won't start

Featured Replies

Hi guys. Looking to see if anyone can shed some light to this. 2012 Q7 3.0 tdi, cut out on by pass when wife was driving it. Recovered to my garage and it won't start with no fault codes, pull the wire off the fuel pressure sensor and it will idle all day but won't rev up. New fuel filter, and whole in tank pump assembly from audi. It got 6 new injectors last year, which seem OK with a leak off test. I'm confused with it, all data on snapon comp seems as should do.

Anyone came across this before

Hi if you pull the wire off of the pressure sensor and it runs chances are it is the sensor gone as it has a default position for starting manually but is taking no signal voltage as its had it .

Hi all. yeah, got it sorted it turned out to be the HP fuel pump that was the issue. changed pump.and all was good. i cleaned the tank and fuel lines and new filter, all was good for a few days then the turbo went so I sold it as was due to it needing a few bits done to suspension also.
