Steering wheel airbag rattles A6 2019

Featured Replies

Hello, has anyone managed to solve the known problem with the noises (rattles) emitted by the airbag in the steering wheel?
(solution other than replacing airbag for 300E)

Thank you for any ideas.

I solved the vibration of the airbag at low revs by lining the space under the airbags with this packing foam.

It's quiet for now. 🙂

Hi Davidkom955,

Would you mind sharing with us if you disconnected the battery - and went through all the fuss of de energising the mild battery and all that to remove the airbag? Or you did it with the battery connected?

Thank you.
