Hi, newbie here, thanks for having me. I am about to take ownership of a 2012 A6 Estate,SE TDI CVT, (what it says on the V5). It is broken, with the Green Flag mechanic saying it needs new injectors. I am getting it FOC, from a trusted source, I am told that it also could be doing with brakes. My son and I are hoping to do most of the repairs ourselves.

Not been on a forum since I had an RX-8 about 14 years ago, so looking forward to all the good advice I am sure I will receive here. The car should arrive on a breakdown wagon early next week, I will post a photo then, cheers.

Are you saying you bought the car without being able to test drive it?

Hi, no, I'm saying I got it FOC from a trusted source.

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂

So what do I do now? Continue this thread, or start a new one in the A6 forum? I'm aware this forum is for new members,.. don't want to upset anyone's etiquette protocols 😏

Thanks and welcome David,

Probably better to now post specific issues under the A6 section.
Kind regards,

Gareth.

Will do, cheers.
