New S6 V10 Avant owner (must be mad)

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, just checking in as a new owner of a 2008 5.2 V10 Avant, and yes I must be mad, loving the car, it has a few minor issues I need to sort but will get there, the previous owner basically had a full rebuild done on it a few years ago and I have documents going back years for the parts invoices so hopefully its a good one. Luckily its a second car so not a daily driver, bought it really as I think these might get future classic type thing, how many V10 cars are there left, other than the full rebuild, the IM has had the flaps removed, rare to find one that hasnt, the previous owner did a catch can  and total pcv removal other than the check valve, which I am going to put back as the crank needs some scavenge but I will run the catch can before the AOS to try and keep the intake a bit cleaner, air con doesnt work but that is looking like a flexi pipe on the front corner so hopefully not a total wallet killer, since the rebuild it looka like its done 4k miles and its sat at 104k now, anyway enough waffling, thanks in advance for any advice.
