PASSENGER SEAT NOT GOING FORWARD

Featured Replies

I am new to the forums so forgive me asking any dumb questions !

So I picked up my 2013 A7 Black Edition yesterday (31/01/2025) & when using the electric seat controls for the passenger seat it will go backwards and recline but won’t go forwards.

Has anyone had this issue before?

Tried the button and had no luck unfortunately cheapest option is a new seat which is annoying

I would suggest employing a trusted auto electrician before considering replacing the seat - which seems rather extreme.
If the motor will move the seat in one direction then it points to it at least being electrically efficient.
Kind regards,

Gareth.
