Had this old girl for over a year now and have just joined the forum seeking advice, so thought I would post a pic too. Very tidy, 108k on the clock and still purrs like a kitten, no knocks/ticks etc, sounds nice. S-Tronic still operating well with instantaneous shifts and pretty smooth overall.

My new toy. Stumbled across it whilst at work and after showing interest, the owner offered it to me for a fair price. Anyone happen to know this car?

Gave mine a bit of a clean up so thought I'd share a pic of how she's looking after a year in my hands.

Think I've finished all the modifying and retrofitting for now so just enjoying the driving.

Looks lovely, how are you finding it so far? I've got a similar A6. It wasn't brand new, I bought an ex-demonstrator at around 5k miles.

It’s drinking a lot of oil and ad blue …. I’m hoping that settles down the more the engine beds in . Other little quirks I’ve had are a fault about central locking that pops up intermittently. Also I’ve had a warning come on where it doesn’t recognise the key fob but that goes more or less the minute after it comes up . Apart from that the Quattro is a very enjoyable and comfortable  drive . The sound system is crisp . Love the boot space .

That's uncanny, this afternoon I picked up mine from the dealership after having the door locks replaced. I had the same intermittent fault that popped up now and again. The first time the dealership looked at it they couldn't figure it out. The second time round they fitted new door locks to both rear doors because apparently they were shorting out. It was under warranty so it was free. Have you spoken to the dealership?

Mine's still drinking oil a bit too, I was thinking to try and measure how much it was using to see if it was abnormal. I'm nearly at 10k miles now.

I've also had the key fob warning once or twice too.

I’ve not bothered taking it in yet as the faults clear almost instantly . I will likely bring it up when it goes in for its service . I’ve already done around 10k in the short space time of time I’ve had it . I hope your issues are sorted now they have replaced the locks but please keep us updated.

Yeah sure, I'll let you know if changing the door locks doesn't fix it.

Just joined the owners club so here is my Audi A4 B8.5 3.0Tdi Quattro Black Edition. Had the car about two years, she was standard when I purchased the car. Current modifications:  

Back box delete. Black gloss rear diffuser. Black chrome exhaust tips. Black gloss badges all round. Black gloss grill. S4 Alcantara seats. RS4 interior door handles. Rear door card window blinds. Audio speakers and tweeters upgraded. K&N air filter. Wagner competition intercooler. RS4 rear anti roll bar. 

Retrofits: Power fold wing mirrors. MMI 3G plus. Ambient interior lights fitted.
