Updating MMI 2006/7 A6 ALLROAD

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Driving a 2006 Allroad is great fun, knowing where I'm going is generally makes the experience even better. So one of my next priorities is to update the SatNav, any advise on how and where to get hold of the CDs/DVDs.

Cheers Phill

You most likely have mmi2g high (colour screen ) or mmi2g low ( red monochromatic screen )

You can update software to 55.70 and maps ( dvd rom in the boot ) . Can you eject the dvd out ? Usualy its factory locked and requires coding with vcds to enable eject

Right, I've taken a look at the boot and I can get the satnav disc out.

I just need to get hold of the discs from Paul A6's source and I'll be sorted.

Thanks Gents

I found mine online for free ::) . Then burned them on 3 cd

Soft upgrade is done via cd changer in the glovebox
