  1. Hi Mat, Most manufacturers normally recommend the minimum is 2mm of wear. Checking on EBC's site for standard replacements it appears new rear discs on the Q7 have 28mm with the minimum at 26mm: http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/uprated/ebc-standard-rear-brake-discs/audi/q7.html Hope that helps. James
  2. Glad you got it sorted - there's nothing worse than dodgy wiring!
  3. Might be worth pricing up a new one too, as you never know - it may not be that expensive.
  4. Good work so far then! I spotted this thread on another forum reference lowering a Q7 with air suspension but I imagine the principle will be similar: http://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-discussion-112/vag-com-vcds-air-suspension-lowering-2815933/
  5. Hi Chris, I'm a bit of an F1 fan although probably more of a casual fan. I've heard a lot of criticism regarding the rules change which is clearly why they're changing it back. I always like to believe in the motto "if it ain't broke don't fix it" and I think that definitely applies here. I know they're trying to mix things up and make it more interesting to watch, but clearly they got it wrong this time. At least they weren't afraid to back track though.
  6. Thanks George but I'm with you on that one - not obviously visible. Have you thought about removing the plastic under tray and taking a look underneath?
  7. Hi Rob, Front fog lights are not tested as part of the MOT so you should be fine. You just need working sidelights, dipped and full beams at the front. The rear fog light is compulsory though. James
  8. Jonathan is right, though I believe they usually stipulate that the car has to have a full Audi service history too.

Not 100% sure John but the quad exit S1 exhaust has a longitudinal back box, so take a look underneath and figure out if you have space for this. If you do then chances are it would fit with some modification. If not, then probably not.
  10. Sounds good, probably need a little more time to bed in I guess!
  11. Hi Howard welcome! Interesting review
  12. Is it this type Rob? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-AUDI-RS4-ALLOY-WHEEL-CENTRE-HUB-CAPS-TT-A1-A2-A3-A5-A4-A6-A8-8D0601165K-/321954181283?hash=item4af5f6f0a3:g:ZrIAAOSw-7RVBu~a
  13. Should be easy enough to sort though - is it just the one sidelight?
  14. Glad you managed to get it sorted Rob - time to get on and enjoy driving the car now then!
  15. Hi Gareth, might be worth adding a photo to the post
  16. James replied to HK1's topic in Audi Q7 Club
Yes as Naz says surprising what a dodgy battery can do sometimes!
  17. Turned out to be something simple in the end then! Glad you got it sorted
  18. Not sure if this will help - it's on a Golf forum but there do seem to be quite a few versions of the K03: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=93942.0 Have you thought about an exchange unit from someone like Essex Turbos: http://www.essexturbos.com/
  19. Hi Narinder, welcome to AOC That's a long time to own a car, you must be really pleased with it to keep it for that long!
  20. HI Gary welcome to AOC Nice looking A3 - love the silver with black wheels combo! Does the car have any mods? The 3.2 is a nice engine for a car of that size - a little juicy though!
  21. Not sure if it would help, but may be worth posting an image of your engine bay up here and I'll take a look. Can't promise but maybe worth a shot!
  22. I'm not 100% where the factory system takes its feed from, but I do know that after market systems usually take a feed from the reverse light rather than the gearbox. If you still have warranty with the garage you purchased it from, I'd take it back there and let them figure it out?
  23. Personally I'd stick with the air suspension as it's a nice set up, mind you I have issues with low cars as my drive causes problems. I have to drive on at a silly angle to stop low cars scraping How low are you looking to go?
  24. The telephone units were an option I believe but they are looking a bit dated these days.
