  1. Yes, everything fits.😕
  2. Ich gehe davon aus, dass Sie eine Diagnose durchgeführt haben, um zu sehen, ob irgendwelche Fehlercodes auftauchen? Auch eine defekte Batterie kann verschiedene elektrische Probleme verursachen.
  3. OK so there are new findings. I have bridged the oil pressure switch directly on top of the instrument cluster and see no difference. Then I deactivated oil temperature and oil level from the instrument cluster with VCDS and still I get the annoying oil pressure warning does anyone else have a plan? What can be done? It is only important to me that the speedometer no longer displays the oil pressure warning.
  4. ich übersetze das gerade vom Deutschen ins Englische und hoffe das ist ok.just translated this from german to english.....So I have an Audi A4 B7 2.0TFSI BWE and have now installed a replacement engine. Now I have the problem oil pressure warning in the FIS. So ei oil pump kit installed measured between 2-6 bar oil pressure and a new oil pressure switch (the one by the oil filter) and surprise I still get an oil pressure warning. Does anyone have any ideas. Wiring diagrams fuses anything?
  5. ah ok keep us updated thanks
  6. your welcome. yes i found it annoying too.hope you get it sorted soon regards stephen
  7. hi,welcome to the forum. i have an audi a4 my parcel shelf kept popping up when closing the boot or going over bumps so i applied wd40 to the right side prongs and gently pushed the prongs in and out for around 10 minutes spraying every 30 seconds or so.and now the parcel shelf sits firmly in place.but please note i have 2 prongs on either side of the parcel shelf. i think it was steve Q who showed some clips/prongs you can buy to replace yours assuming their not damaged beyond repair.also i have no idea how to replace them.regards stephen
  8. positive side mines £30 a year tax with having stop start😁
  9. oh my word steve thank you for enlighting me and others with your knowledge we are very grateful it now puts my mind at ease.kind regards stephen.ps just waiting for a garage to get back to me to see when they can book me in for the front wishbone arms and timing doing including the water pump

  11. just check wiring before replacing anything if you know where to look
  12. update put the car back together still 2500rpm at standstill took it for an italian tune up.it gave power when needed but no higher than just over 3000rpm still powerful enough but not the 4500 i used to have at standstill.still no codes.no warning lights on dashboard.i will have to look into what steve Q has mentioned the dpf as i have symptons of low power, bit of black smoke from exhaust, diesel fuel odour in the cabin, reduced fuel economy.i thought audi may have picked up on this on thursday the 18th of may as i asked for a health check on the engine. pleased audi realised about the timing though phew..
  13. started the car up and left it to idle and it now idles fine.no rough idling....i thought great, until i went to rev the car up and its only giving me 2,500rpm......taken the front bumper off this morning as i thought this pipe(see pic)had come lose like it did once and had power loss...checked the connector to the turbo all fine checked other pipes and connectors all ok.....plugged the snap on in....no codes.....any ideas please. stuck with car on ramps this morning.lol..21/05/23

  16. sorry for the even later reply steve here are the results from audi(£99 health check)...😂😂😂no mention of dpf/injectors.i could not believe they had to turn the timing back a notch😮 got part video on audi cam they sent me.
  17. it looks easy enough to replace and as its out of warranty there's plenty of garages that would do the job.if this is the wrong youtube video then my apologies.

  22. hi steve, sorry i should have said.yes, and no fault codes i was just leaning towards injectors as i have high mileage.i have read on here people having faults with different things on their cars and not having any fault codes come up.i know its guess work without a reading.if i was to go down the rd of injectors then yes i will leave it to the professionals then as i am not that handy with spanners.regards stephen
  23. hi,the car is running a bit rough on idle and poor fuel economy, but fine while driving apart from a vibration from the rear right when seeting off in 1st gear.can anyone advise as to wether this should be left to a specialist to remove and clean the injectors and have the seals replaced. ? as always any advice grateful👍stephen
