Hi Dan I share your interest in Hillclimbing...purely as a spectator and not a competitor though. Would love to have a look at your list. Cheers, Trevor

Dash cam wiring
Good to meet you on Saturday Paul A6 Sometimes it's hard to find a true ignition fed power source in the fusebox as is the case on my Honda CR-V...could not find a single feed in there...ended up with a permanent feed and selected then dash cam (Nextbase 512GW) to power down after a few minutes. The good thing about this is it will not drain the battery and also it comes alive if the car is knocked so good for added security. As with the replacement battery, 'you get what you pay for' and quality is not cheap but I know @Magnet will back me up on this one.....get a branded make and albeit you pay for it, you won't regret it. If you are in Bournemouth area at any time, there is a superb Battery wholesaler, Bournemouth Battery Centre who can supply a branded one at a very reasonable cost (even cheaper if I give you my trade account name, let me know if you need it). Also, niedzial1983 is correct as it will need coding in for the vehicle to recognise the new battery charge status, otherwise it will always work off the old battery condition and not charge properly. It's a quick procedure that can be done by anyone with a VagCom. Let us know how you get on with it all Cheers, Trevor

Audi indicator problem
Hi Matthew...welcome to the Forum Apart from the fact that they may be linked by way of the Hazards coming on when the Airbags are deployed I cannot see that there would be any common factor with the pre-tensioner connection and the relay...sorry, but think it's pure coincidence. Hope it's all sorted now? Cheers, Trevor

new member returning to Audi
Hi Colin...welcome to the Forum It's a difficult one....Warranties are okay as long as it is defined as a failure and not relating to wear and tear...so electronics are mostly covered but virtually anything else can wear with use over time....read the exclusions before signing up is my only advice. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

Film buffs
Gutted!!! not allowed to watch the type of films I enjoy in the company of my ladyfriend, as she hates violence....so I have to wait until she is out for an evening to catch up on superhero, war or gangster films.... However, chick flicks are the order of the day, lol

The Q7 is pulling to the right side
Hi Krishna....welcome to the Forum It is more than likely a characteristic of the Audi as the Porsche and Jaguar don't follow the same pattern....either that or they dial out the pulling with better chassis set up. I would take it to a reputable garage that can adjust the steering and suspension to counteract the pulling which may also be down to the AWD set up. I sorted my Honda CR-V which was doing the same by adjusting the rear wheel geometry and it improved it instantly. Let us know how you get on with it Cheers, Trevor
