  1. Sorry Martin.....not sure of the locations for earth points but it's worth checking what comes out the battery and follow them down through the engine bay. Not sure about the pin designation either but it would be handy to know what connects up to it
  2. Would make superb advertising display for large corporations such as McDonalds....I can see it now, the first thing you see when you sail in from France is the MaccyD's sign saying 'welcome to England...proudly sponsored by McDonalds'
  3. Hi Dean...welcome to the Forum My thoughts are replace it before it becomes an issue...it will need replacing anyway so sooner than later is a good philosophy Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  4. Sorry to hear that Karl....it makes you feel sick when you find something like that. I always park well away from everyone else (much to the disgust of my ladyfriend) but don't want it damaged...but you still find that someone has parked right next to you when you get back :-( Hopefully, DentBusters or similar will be able to get it out without a repaint
  5. Looking good Piotr and baby wipes are great at removing dirt and grime.....so much so that you wonder if they are that strong in degreasing oily marks then what must they do to a baby's arse? Will be inspecting engine bays at Castle Coombe so if anyone else needs to clean theirs you have just over a week to do so
  6. Hi Chris...welcome to the Forum Ask away with the questions, not sure we'll always have the right answers but we'll have a go. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  7. Hi Chris .... welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard and let us know when you get one and post up a piccy of it. Cheers, Trevor

  10. Hi Martin....welcome to the Forum My first thoughts are....which terminal did your mechanic remove first, only if it was the positive terminal then this can create a spike through the electronics. You should only remove the negative terminal first to isolate the electrical supply and not introduce any power surges through the system. Additionally, if the electrics were troublesome before disconnection of the battery, then this could likely be an earthing problem which would account for the spike also. Check the battery connections and earth leads first to see if there is any corrosion or poor connections before fitting any new electronic units. Let us know what you find Cheers, Trevor
  11. Janis Bagatais Here is where you can buy tickets for track events, etc. Entrance for just the club stand with no track extras is £10. Then it is a case of driving to our club pitch (wherever that is?) This is the information that you will need to log in to buy tickets to be on the club stand
  12. Karl220282 How did it go with the cover and the clips?
  13. Hi John From memory, it will be the idle speed control valve (ISCV) that will need cleaning out (with carb cleaner) and also ensure that any vacuum hoses are intact and no leaks present.
  14. Great article you have put together Steve....I didn't know the tie-up between Senna and Audi and it's an aweful shame he was killed as I'm sure this would have been even more of a success and he would have been an awesome ambassador for the brand.
  15. Here's a few Audi's I spotted in Kefalonia but didn't spot many new ones around
  16. The key fob will need to be on the end of the key for the immobiliser chip to be read by the aerial / immobiliser ring mounted on the ignition barrel, if not it won't be able to read the chip
  17. HI Edd....welcome to the Forum The nearest show to you will be the Audi International Driver show at Castle Coombe in September.... Put your name down if you want to join us on the club stand. Hopefully see you there Cheers, Trevor
  18. No, neither was I until I thought of it, lol
  19. Hi David Usually, updating a licence only gives you Traffic support with the occasional Map update that I'm aware of. Possibly also, breakdown assistance and crash incident support. Definitely worth checking with them what you are actually paying a subscription for Cheers, Trevor
  20. Hi Lennox....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
