  1. lol...the number plate gives it away....
  2. not sure about this one!
  3. yes indeed...but how about this one?
  4. haha...you couldn't make that up...both at exactly the same time
  5. I'm guessing Transporter (not sure which one though)?
  6. Hi Graham....welcome to the Forum I think you'll find that the clutch and flywheel are the weak points on most cars when pumping up the power. Cheers Trevor
  7. Hi John....welcome to the Forum Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  8. Hi Aaron....welcome to the Forum I would have it checked at a specialist Audi repairer to ensure that the timing chain/belt is as it should be just to be on the safe side. After that, I would run some fuel cleaner through the engine to ensure it is running clean and see if that improves things Let us know how you get on with it Cheers Trevor
  9. AOC Admin replied to Zoren's topic in Audi Q5 Club
Hi Zoren....welcome to the Forum Could you post up a picture of the bars and also are they both the same height? Cheers, Trevor
  10. Hi Dave...welcome to the Forum Good to see you started with a picture of the engine...my favourite part of a car. Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  11. Hi Ian...welcome to the Forum someone can answer your questions Good to have you onboard
  12. Hi Simon....welcome to the Forum Great looking Audi :-) Sorry, can't help with the first two questions but I certainly wouldn't throw away the bracket as it may be vital to the car...or not but you won't know until the day when you need it, lol. The allroad setting, I would wait until the dealer has had a chance to look at it, but it may be something simple like the drivers door is open at the time and it won't feature until closed (like Range Rover, etc). Cheers Trevor
  13. That was exactly what I thought you were going to say...common fault when the turbo variable vanes gum up with carbon....just need cleaning with additives, and at very little cost. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Diesel-Engine-Turbo-Cleaner-Cures-Limp-mode-/252680515459?hash=item3ad4eeaf83:g:vSoAAOSwyQtVlAeE Usually caused by smoking it around town and not revving the nuts off the engine, carbon builds up on the vanes and gums them in place. Use the cleaner and give it an Italian Tune-up...that'll sort it out
  14. Have seen this fault come up before on this forum....have a search for alternator and see what it brings up
  15. lol....too early in the morning for that level of humour :-)
  16. Hi James What actually occurs when it fails and how do you resolve it to get going again? Cheers, Trevor
  17. Hi Tom You can post up pictures through this link (see below) http://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/gallery/category/1-members-albums-category/ To reduce size before posting there is a really useful app called Image Resizer for Windows (not sure which one for Apple) Any problems, just let me know Cheers Trevor
  18. Can't think of any other methods that would work unfortunately.....hopefully someone on here can help???
  19. Hi Rick...welcome to the Forum Are you sure you want to return to the UK...the weather's pretty awful at the moment! Good to have you onboard and hope you find the Forum useful to research the different Audi's. Cheers, Trevor
  20. Hi Anthony I would get a scan on the electronic systems to determine whether it is actually a gearbox sensor or whether it is an engine sensor (Crankshaft Sensor for example). Quite possibly, running fuel cleaner through engine may help matters and cost very little. Let us know how this all goes Cheers Trevor
  21. Hi Brian There are a few different methods that you could try....see information in Guides & Reviews section and also the Technical section. If it was working before the battery was disconnected then it does work but just isn't communicating which should just be a case of reconnecting the remote to the car once more. Let us know how you get on with the different methods. Cheers, Trevor
  22. Hi Anthony....welcome to the Forum I was going to suggest eBay also....bought one there years ago which was All Data and had fantastic level of information Cheers, Trevor
