IMPORTANT INFO - driving in France Crit'Air clean air stickers
Thanks for the comprehensive information Steve...it seems like the French love their regulations but in reality, it will hit all major European cities in the near future and not a bad thing as well.

Cars or bikes you should have bought or kept.
They are certainly instantly recognisable Dan3222 but shame about the rust...not many left now Great fun to drive with the VVC engine, close ratio box and a Torsen diff as standard :-)

Cars or bikes you should have bought or kept.
Great cars listed so far chaps...and can almost feel the memories being rekindled fondly. I think the only car I really regret getting rid off (to the 2nd ex-wife as divorce settlement) was my 1999 Rover 200 LE 'BRM' ... limited edition number 286 of 795.....really miss her! (the car not the wife!). Always used to be dirt cheap to buy, now can't find one for less than £2k

Two problems with roof and central locking
It sounds like the switch is holding down the relay, which in turn may have blown the central locking fuse...which is probably where I would start and also to replace the roof switch also.

Has anyone had a towbar fitted to their A7?
My neighbour has a swanneck towbar fitted to his A7 and had it removed from his old A7 to fit to his new one, so I suppose it's an outlay but if you replace the car in a few years then at least you can remove the whole assembly and refit to a new one or sell it to get some of your money back.

clutch
Hi Andrew....welcome to the Forum It could be a dual mass flywheel fault as I have known them to do that before, although they are usually accompanied by a very loud rattling if they get to that stage. Keep us updated if it happens again Cheers Trevor
