I’ve used Brembo discs and pads to good effect - if that helps. Try Carparts in Motion at Exeter for competitive prices and good service - no personal connection. Hello Susan, There appears to be a choice of 3 secondhand ones on EBay, starting at £15.50. I think ( but not certain) that the Febi no. is 19526 - but please check. Looking back on this - £186 for a spurious make battery-?? Halfords:- their batteries are seldom competitively priced even after the discount has been applied.

Welcome Ty, If it were mine, the first thing I would be checking would be the battery efficiency. Halfords stores do this. Welcome Timothy, Sorry to hear of your issue ‘ cut out while driving on a motorway’ , ‘…….cut out on a roundabout….’ Not really making sense! Anyone looking at this car will want to know - diesel or petrol, were there any previously episodes, any warning of anything just prior to it cutting out this time etc.?? Hello Monty, So you now giving us fresh information - unless I missed it previously. So the display is showing ‘door open’ when it isn’t. In that case, you would expect the courtesy lights to be on all the time-? Mine indicates which door is open - does yours? I’m more inclined to believe the issue rests with a door latch problem, but your super theory that they are light sensitive because they worked once in the dark, maybe a clue to fractured wire/s in the flexible harness section twixt door post and door frame. I’m very much with Cliff - the seller needs to fix it - so please don’t attempt any DIY, otherwise they will quite likely claim you have been fiddling with it. Regards, Gareth.
