  1. Water in the boot I'd say could be coming from rear light seals, or bot seals where it meets the roof. Could it be the solenoid in the boot lock mechanism causing it to pop open I wonder? Has it had a further diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up since the initial repair?
  2. I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you're lucky, a software update might be all it needs. Worse case scenario the units failed.
  3. Have you checked the pollen filter housing?
  4. I think you could be right, 128 might be the max but unsure why.
  5. Have you had a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up? Have you looked to replace the actuator?
  6. Glad you got sorted. They don't make it easy that's for sure!
  7. The auto handbrake in theory should only disengage once the car has sensed you have enough revs to pull off. What you describe is normal
  8. I think the subscription is only free for the first 3 years.
  9. The symptoms sound similar to a failing thermostat possibly
  10. Could be exhaust or could be a failing engine mount and the engine movement is pulling on the exhaust
  11. I think you've hit the nail on the head to be honest. See if you can dry out the emu and get all drain holes clear of leaves etc. Once dry see if ye problem persists. If it does then replacement is usually the only option
  12. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. One key thing to think is do you want one with 5,6 or 7 seats. Tech packs are very useful Check the mmi on the vehicle. As higher the better. Check service history. Mainly for proof of gearbox oil services and if it's had any work done the air suspension as that's the biggest problem with them. 2011 was the year that the car got an 8 speed gear box instead of the 6 speed in 2010 and earlier. I think there was a slight facelift too and a slight engine refinement but the main difference is the gearbox which makes it better on fuel and nicer to drive on the motorway. It might of got the start stop too. Early 2011 cars (60 plate) and some early 11 plate cars probably wonโ€™t have the revisions. Get one with the 8 speed box itโ€™s a lot nicer to drive
  13. If the code is relating to a egr cooler then it could be.
  14. Speak to autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them and been happy with the results
  15. Glad you got sorted ๐Ÿ™‚
  16. No you shouldn't need the centre box for MOT as it's just a silencer. If you're struggling you could always upgrade to a stainless steel exhaust. I'd recommend powerflow exhausts as my friends and brother has used them and been happy with the results.
  17. I'd guess it's either under the driver's seat or behind the AC control unit where the seat heated switches are.
  18. I'm not sure but I think it's the same one fitted to polos and golfs.
  19. Take a look at this article I did 3 years ago. I'd advise against boring out the block in my opinion. Especially when you can get good gains with a 1.8t with a stock block.
  20. You've done a good amount of diagnostic work already. Is it worth buying a second hand head unit to see if that resolved the problem?
  21. I agree with Gareths advice, might be worth getting a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up
  22. Is it worth getting the dpf actually dismantled for inspection? Or a forced regen? I appreciate it regen'd the other day.
  23. Looks great and merry Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ™‚
  24. Don't blame you! Please keep us posted on how you get on
  25. I'd recommend you get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. A failing battery can cause windows to suddenly drop, but this shouldn't be the case on a 2023 car. The only other thing I can think of is if you've lent on the key but this I feel is more unlikely
