  1. Well done for spotting this Marty, alot of people wouldn't have done! I'd definitely let the dealer sort it. But I would have to agree with you. If I recall the rear window lifts up first then the drivers window will follow suit. Obviously if the rear window isn't lined properly then the front window won't line up either. Have you made sure the roof is sealing properly along the edge of windscreen babe the same for the passenger side? Cheers Steve
  2. It's number 1 in the charts ATM!
  3. I think you'll have to replace the whole unit if I remember correctly
  4. LMAO Paul! I hadn't even noticed 😂
  5. Once again the audiownersclub.com attended the VAG Tuner Live show at Donington Park race circuit which was held on one of the hottest days of the year on Sunday 1st July. Some of us met bright and early at 7am at Donington Park services before making our way to the race circuit for 8am to set up our display. Clubs from around the country were in attendance, covering all makes from the VAG group and surprisingly even a Mercedes club was in attendance which certainly wasn't expected! Compared to last year we had a great turnout of cars and had seven cars on display including a C5 A6, D3 A8 W12 taxi, a5, S5, A5 convertible and A3 saloon and we were set up next to Audi Owners UK who were a friendly bunch and lead by their area coordinator Ash. we even helped them put down their gazebo at the end of the day. Besides the fantastic club displays there was a great selection of trade stands and the option of free rides in test cars from the various traders to see their products in action. This was also combined with track time which was great to watch and did have a couple of cars breaking down or going off. Furthermore there's anything was a great selection of food outlets and just like VAG at the manor, the icecream van was a firm favorite! Kids weren't left out either and free dodgems were available and proved popular with both kids and parents. If you needed a break from the show or just to get out of the sun you had the option to pay to look around the museum and the fantastic collection of F1 racing cars and military vehicles including various WW2 Volkswagens. Overall VAG tuner Live was once again a fantastic show which is well worth attending and one I strongly recommend for members to attend next year. I know I'll certainly be there, will you? just want to say thanks to all our members who helped support the club display and your attendance was greatly appreciated 🙂
  6. Thats good because that could be a sign that the blades have started to break off. I'd look at changing the gaskets and hoses first but also looking at getting a diagnostic check carried out. Now I wouldn't normally advise this, but your other option is to leave it alone. I speak from experience, my a6 was a whistle and whine on the turbo and has been like it for 5-7 years with no issues and I have just gone past the 330,000 mile mark today. Cheers Steve
  7. I turbo wine/wistle could be due to failing gaskets or hoses to be honest. Is there any hesitation when the turbo is working? Cheers Steve
  8. There was a great turnout Scott. It's nice that we are getting ban increase of members who display there cars as part if the club and you'd be more than welcome to join us 🙂 there were some great cars and I agree the Harlequin certainly stands out! cheers Steve
  9. Welcome to the forum John, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 if it's not dripping from the tail pipe then I'd argue there's a leak somewhere in the exhaust. Water dripping out of an exhaust often occurs on vehicles that don't get driven often. So my question is, how much do you drive your a3? Might be worth you getting back second opinion and taking it to another Audi garage. cheers Steve
  10. Welcome to the forum Kyle, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 lovely looking a4 you have there. In terms of rust it'll need sanding back to metal then respraying. cheers Steve

  20. Glad it was sorted under warranty for you! Fingers crossed there won't be any other issues Steve. Just watch your rear tyres if they're dunlops as they have a horrible trait of splitting bon the inner sidewalls!
