  1. The only issue with wrapping or painting them, is that It could affect your warranty
  2. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  3. Steve Q replied to a6blacked007's topic in Audi Q7 Club
Cracking through the jobs 👍 looks a nice q7
  4. You should just be able to change the trim.
  5. You could always get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If you've just bought it from a dealer then they should fix any issues FOC within the last 30 days
  6. Have you tried eBay? Won't it be the same as that on the polo?
  7. I think the only true solution is to replace the egr and dpf.
  8. You might find it hasn't got the function with your mmi. Has the car got the tech pack etc?
  9. Sounds like you've done everything you can. I'd definitely recommend you get a garage or auto electrican to take a look
  10. Did you buy it from a dealer? I'd recommend you get an auto electrican to take a look at the wiring
  11. Have you tried a broker like performance direct? I've found ageas reasonable. And Adrian flux insure modified cars I think.
  12. Looks like a phone connector. Has the car got sat nav etc?
  13. It definitely sounds like a broken wire. If be following the look for the mirrors.
  14. Not heard of any other cases. As it's a new car I'd recommend for you to get it checked by Audi. As it could be a faulty seal or nis-aligned door.
  15. The garage could be right.
  16. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. This can be done at a normal garage or independent specialist rather than Audi.
  17. No probs, was just giving you the info regarding mapping it out. I do appreciate the complexity of having the taxi licence. I'd recommend you source the pats second hand from eBay including international sellers if possible.
  18. Aren't they on the end sides of the dash? If not the fuse, I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. I wouldnt be surprised if it's the amp.
  19. Mapping it out is in theory a no no as it's now illegal to modify or tamper with emissions systems. So would be an MOT failure and fine if caught. However, as long as there's no warning lights on the dash and system is still fitted then there's not much more MOT tester can do as it's a visual inspection. If that makes sense.
  20. According to this it'll take 4 litres. However there's two parts of the gearbox that take 2 different types of oil. https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b9-platform-discussion-212/b9-transmission-fluid-change-no-3033044/
  21. Fingers crossed that scenario is slim 🤞
  22. Thanks for letting owners know 🙂
