  1. You're welcome 🙂
  2. Don't go there, my local tyre place says tyre prices are going up nearly daily!
  3. Looks a very nice car 🙂 the d3 is my favourite a8. Here's a video of how to change the motor:
  4. You could always look at a headunit upgrade but it won't be cheap.
  5. Yep you could get one made by a Russian company for various Audi models including the c5. Was contemplating one for when I can get back out on my more scenic road trips lol.
  6. Looking online.it appears to be grey. Think the S3 had a green one? This link might help too: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Audi_B6_A4/13-WATER-Coolant_Temperature_Sensor_Replacement/13-WATER-Coolant_Temperature_Sensor_Replacement.htm
  7. We'll be getting to the show for 9ish. For the heads up there won't be a club display at this event. But we'll look forward to seeing any members who attend 🙂
  8. In my opinion most warranties aren't worth the paper they're written on, excluding the manufacturer approved warranties. You'll pay more but it's the one I'd choose. But definitely read the small print of what's covered/not covered.
  9. Wow thanks for the link kev! Unfortunately they're in Belarus which if I'm not mistaken is going to come under sanctions due to the ongoing war. It was like the steel undertray I wanted. It would have come from Russia so can't get that now.
  10. Sorry it didn't come free. !Removed! annoying when that happens. Hopefully the garage can sort it quickly for you 🙂
  11. Glad you got sorted 🙂
  12. I'd keep it on a smart charger. Like a trickle charger but one that knows when the battery needs charging etc.

It’s also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.

  19. Sunday 14th August 2022 at Santa Pod Raceway Car Show With Run What Ya Brung on Saturday 13th August 2022 The German car show comes to Santa Pod for Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Porsche and more. With German only RWYB plus, Show & Shine, and more. German engineering takes over for “Das Auto Show”. German car manufacturers are extremely popular on the roads in the UK; whether you’re looking for an efficient hatchback, high performance monster or touch of class, the chances are you’ve at least thought about buying a German machine before. The modern line of performance vehicles makes them popular on the drag strip too with the likes of the BMW M series, Audi RS series, VW R and GTI series or even Mercedes AMG series all capable of recording some mightily impressive ¼ mile times. Then we have Porsche whose name speaks for itself in the automotive world! We can’t wait to see which one of these marque heavy weights ends up on top of the pile at the end of the weekend. Buy Tickets Online at www.santapodtickets.com or phone Box Office on 01234 782828 https://dasautoshow.co.uk/ RWYB (Run What Ya Brung) Open to German Cars Only, Pre-Booking Only The drag strip will be open for you to take your own car down the track with performance print outs! New COVID-19 Signing On Procedure! Please note there will be No Signing On, on the day. The sign on procedure is now built into the online ticket purchasing process BUT you will still need to present your driving licence at the signing on office. NO Tickets or Race Vouchers will be available on the day Sign-on costs £35 for the day with unlimited runs, as many as you want. Trophies for quickest in class including £200 cash prize to go with the “King of Germany” trophy! Classes and more info on the RWYB page. If you want maximum track time then come for the weekend as there is a RWYB on the Saturday with free camping for weekend ticket holders

Please let me if you're interested ☺️ https://www.carcalendar.co.uk/club-events/jap-vs-german/ https://www.facebook.com/events/1389819451436113/
  22. Glad you got it working again 😊
  23. Glad you sorted the radiator. Regarding no throttle response, could it possible that the 'fly by wire' accelerator pedal be causing your problem? They are just a variable resistor connected to a pedal really. So it could be the pedal sensor. It could also be the throttle body. this is me assuming its a manual of course. If it's an auto then I'd think it's connected to the previous problem. And I'd assume it's the CVT gearbox. If it is a CVT gearbox I've seen issues where hesitation on acceleration is caused when the box isn't warm enough plus other issues. If you Google Audi CVT gearbox problems you'll see what I mean. I Also known on the b8 the diverter valve is known to fail on them causing the issues you're experiencing. But not 100% sure if that affects the b7.
  24. Id still be speaking Audi and Audi customer services. But I do agree I think you're stuck with it despite Audi not giving you the information. You could always speak to trading standards, citizens advice or the motoring ombudsman.
  25. Hey mate, how'd you get on removing the nut?
