  1. Definitely try a new switch or an oil flush.
  2. Glad you got sorted.
  3. My advice would be to take off the dpf to check to see if it's blocked. Once it's off it's worth cleaning it abd reinstalling it to see if that fixes the issue. However it might be the case you'll.need a new dpf.
  4. No probs. Once it's fitted you'll probably have to reset it with vcds or similar.
  5. Looks lovely, glad you're pleased with it 🙂
  6. My advice would be to record the noise for Audi to hear it or let them have the car over a lot nh duration of a week for example. Make sure they give you a courtesy car.
  7. Might be worth you looking for local auto electricians. Or vag specialists.
  8. Hello all, Needing some help regarding my 02 a6 central locking as it stopped working and the alarm was sounding. It has been to the garage and auto electrician who between them have fitted a new drivers door module and repaired the alarm issue. However the remote locking isn't working and both the auto electrician and garage don't know why. According to the electrician the keys are talking to the car but the car isn't sending a signal back. The auto electrician believes it to be a faulty module or wiring issue but couldnt get to the bottom of it. Does anyone know if there's another module controlling the remote locking or whether it's managed by the ccm?
  9. I'd buy a new sensor. Best advice would be to ring Audi with your vin to get them to give you the most up to date part number.

  11. As I can't see my planned European roadtrip happening thanks to the restrictions I'm looking at doing lands end to John o groats instead. Looking at going scenic roads/A roads abd intend to factor in 9-10 days to do it. Has anyone else done it? Here's a link to the current record! https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-55177486.amp
  12. No probs, I do confess to owning a large brochure collection. My oldest car brochure is from 1933.
  13. You're welcome, and good luck!
  14. Here's the next one
  15. Correct Trevor ☺️ Your turn ☺️
  16. It could be a sensor issue in the heater control. My advice would be to get a garage take a look.
  17. Might be worth you trying to source a second hand turbo from eBay to get the part you need.
  18. So glad you got sorted John ☺️ the easiest way would be to get a brochure of your car. I like buying brochures in off eBay ☺️
  19. Better to be safe than sorry and use one. But keeping your keys in your microwave when you go to bed can work just as well.
  20. Shame. My advice would be to speak to Audi to see if it requires an update as that'll be the cheapest option
  21. Might e worth you trying a different transmitter
