Engine front cover flange?
My advice would be to get a second opinion before you go ahead with any work.

Burning smell from the heater
Any burning smell I'd be getting this to a garage asap.

Audi A3 cluster lights
My advice would be to get a diagnostic check. Also how olds the battery? A failing battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues.

A1 1600 TDI fuel problem
Hmm could it be wiring related? As you've replaced the injectors etc. Or an ecu fault maybe?

LED headlights - worth having?
Usually led lights are more efficient. It won't be cheap to change them though as youll need the modules a d possibly the wiring a d then it all to be coded.

A1 1600 TDI fuel problem
Have you had a diagnostic check? My dad had a 1.6tdi a3 company car where the turbo failed at 30k. Might be worth considering the turbo.

With that miles I'd avoid diesel as you'll end up with blocked dpf or egr.

Rs6 2022 VS Rs7 2022 ?
They share the same platform so would drive similarly. The benefit of the rs6 is more practicality due to the bigger boot. But the rs7 is rarer.

Comfort and Sound Pack
Wheels might make a slight difference to ride. So it depends on which you prefer. The upgraded sound system is B&O so any car with that would be good for you if you like music.

Scoping for a purchase
Take a look at YouTube buyers guides. The a7 is a lovely car. You have to determine what features are essential to you like sat nav, parking sensors, Bluetooth etc as a lot of these things are extras or part of tech packs etc. Also if it's auto make sure it's had the gearbox oil services on time and same if it's got a quattro system. If quattro make sure all tyres have even wear and the brands match on each axle as either mis matched tyres or uneven wear can damage the quattro system.

Comfort control unit (ccu)
Have you had wet footwells? If the ccm has got wet this often wrecks it. Might be worth getting a diagnostic check.

Soft Top Roof seems very noisy ie wind noise when driving
Hey Charles, I know the rear window stitching and glue can come unstuck letting water in. Also it's worth checking there are no gaps between the windows a d roof. Might be worth looking at changing any rubber seals as I suspect they'll start to become brittle due to age.

Audi a4 b7 2009 registration date - 16V or 8V version
Surely the engine number should tell a parts shop which one it is? In failing that an Audi parts department should be able to tell you. Also this link might help: https://www.torquecars.com/volkswagen/2-0-tdi-140-170-tuning.php

A3 2013 TFS1 audio screen.

Help with ABS, traction and EPB lights
You've done a great amount of diagnostic work already which is great. It could be a failing abs module, especially if it's flagging up as an issue on the diagnostic check or failing abs sensors

Suspension
Definitely avoid cheap sets and cheap ebay sets.
