The first thing I'd check is the battery, if get it checked to see it's performance as a failing battery can affect a car starting. The normal life expectancy of a battery is 5-7 years. Halfords can do a battery test for you. If battery is in good condition then I'd look at the condition of the glow plugs for their condition.
  3. Please keep us posted ☺️
  4. Cold weather puts more strain on a battery and saps it's energy quicker as well as a cold engine is harder to start.
  5. It can be done but it's not cheap. Your best bet is to look at Audi/vag retrofitters.
  6. Two options here. Let them rectify the issues with your concerns raised. Or alternatively take it to a garage you would normally use and trust to see if they can tell if the work has actually been done.
  7. What have the dealer said? Legally you're allowed your money back within 30 days of sale.
  8. Lol thought you'd like it 🤣
  9. I thought so ☺️ but I'm clumbsy to be fair.
  10. Just like this 🤣
  11. That's quite a clever idea for a repair. You'd have to be careful incase there's any wires etc running across the roof.
  12. You're welcome 😊
  13. Or knight rider! 🤣
  14. Lol do true. Don't worry I'll be keeping mine stick. However I might add this washer funnel as I am clumbsy when filling the bottle! I thought other members would find it useful.
  15. Definitely, not my personal car and found the post and info on Facebook ☺️
  16. Welcome to the forum, you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Lovely looking audi you have there 👍
  17. Heres a cool part I found on another page. It's a washer fluid tank cap that doubles as a funnel to prevent washer fluid spills. It's an OE part on some Skodas and fits right on. Just enough clearance to turn and open. Part number 000096706. Found mine on ebay for £9.
