  1. I hope the service history gives you an idea of what parts have recently been changed. My worry, is that the cars been px'd because of the issue either because the previous owner found it was going to be an expensive repair, or they had enough chasing the issue and spending money on various parts to fix it.
  2. You're welcome 🙂 Yes. I believe a crank sensor can.
  3. If a cheap aftermarket bag was used then this could be at fault. Multiple cases of cheap bags failing quickly b
  4. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 Sounds an interesting project. You'll definitely have a better idea after you've got fault codes. How much service history is with the vehicle? Can the seller give you any idea of what work they've done to resolve the issue? Could it be a cam sensor, crank sensor, maf sensor or a fuel delivery issue?.
  5. Great advice and great jobs done. Sorry to hear you've got a power drain. Keep us posted on how you get on. Could it be the imobiliser?
  6. I'd get this into a garage asap. Let's hope it's a chain and not the crankshaft etc.

I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up or get an auto electrician to take a look.

  12. Please keep us posted on how you get on. It could be the ram air causing the issue. Might be worth reverting to stock to see if that cures it.
  13. It certainly is! No matter how old the cars get the bills and parts remain expensive
  14. Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch 🙂 the Highlands are beautiful where abouts are you based?
  15. Not sure to be honest. You didn't fit an aftermarket air filter at the same time did you? I ask as the additional air coming through the maf sensor might be throwing it off.
  16. Fair enough, was just thinking because the cat had been removed. Was there a sensor in the cat?
  17. I know how that feels. As I've been in the same boat.
  18. When modifying the exhaust has the lambda sensor been damaged etc?
