S3 remap
Have you looked at the ones I suggested? I'd highly recommend you have one done on a rolling road for best results in my opinion. Make sure the car is in good health prior to doing it.

2017 Audi A3 DRL not working
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Not sure if the DRL can be changed on its own.

Welcome to the forum you'll find the members on here are a friendly and helpful bunch. Have a look on YouTube buyers guides. Check service history for proof of serving, gearbox oil changed etc. Make sure everything electrical works as some parts such as headlights or AC compressors can be expensive. Issues with the egr and dpf are well documented and make sure the mmi works.

Q7 rear load switch not working
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. If bought from a dealer then I'd recommend getting it back to them asap as it's their duty to fix the vehicle free of charge in the first 30 days after sale

Thanks Cliff 🙂

Replacing crankshaft on a 2.5tdi
Thanks Cliff. I think the plan would be to lift the engine out instead of dropping the subframe. I'm just thinking, changing just the crankshaft is the cheaper option. And hopefully gets the A6 back on the road. We'll be able to diagnose it as that once the sump is removed and we can inspect it.

Should I buy this used R8?
The old saying goes, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Can the dealer prove it's been repaired to a high standard? And repaired by whom? If it's a big enough collision it might/should have been placed on a jig etc. if it's due to flood damage then that's a total different ball game as it will have affected the wiring and computers. What accident caused it to be salvage? Whats the service history of it? Owner history? Etc. Don't forget to check buyer guide YouTube videos

S5 2009 4.2 v8 - new owner question please
Definitely worth checking. Also worth seeing if the high pressure fuel pump is working correctly.

Audi a3 1.8tfsi car trying to stall itself and reving itself
Ot sure to be honest. But if the fault code is that then I'd look to inspect it and replace it.

Just trying to think of issues regarding the air/fuel mixture. Have you changed the actuator?

Replacing crankshaft on a 2.5tdi
Hello all, As it's highly likely it's the crankshaft that's wrecked on my 2.5tdi engine could this just be replaced? I appreciate it'd need new bearings and crank seals etc. How easy is this to do and does anyone know the process? I know the sump (both parts) and the subframe has to be lowered (unless engine removed). But what's the process to remove the actual crankshaft? Would you recommend this? Thank you for any advice.

What have you tried so far?

S5 2009 4.2 v8 - new owner question please
Sorry to hear the issue isn't resolved. Could it be a crank sensor? Or an issue with the air intake system. I appreciate give changed the mass air sensor, but maybe something isn't sealing right? Could it be a fueling issue? Is it worth changing the fuel filter?

S3 remap
I've not heard of them. I trust it's a proper remap on a rolling road? The price is about right. Those figures are good too.

You're welcome, please keep us posted on how you get on. I'm wondering if there's any winter wheels/wheels for the q7 that might fit. Might be worth a consideration
